At least today shouldn't be boring.

Hell yes.  And flame free isn't flame free.  It is a *** ton of passive aggressiveness wrapped in a 'pretty' package.

No rain at our house either.  It realllly loooked like it was going to rain yesterday, too!

Kreeper.. I'm so sorry you're having a hard time.

It sounds like you all need to bark up Gymboree's tree!

I did one of those wine-and-painting things last night at Cork Soakers.  It was so much fun!  I had some hecklers at the bar behind me, and the banter back and forth was highly entertaining.

I could go for painting happy hour once a week.  Then DH's office would be full of his wife's crappy paintings...lmao

I really like Cork Soakers.  Super convenient location for me based on the 288-to-59 N. exits too.

Was there a good turnout?  I promoted it on my page.  Thanks for contributing to HAWC you phenomenal charity chick you.

Yeah. "I fed my kid pudding for breakfast OMG" is boring.

I think it's because most of us know at least one person her IRL. It's hard to start sh!t with someone you actually know or like.

I think many of us are in these situations!  When I need to stir up ***, I go over to the P&CE board.  But be prepared - when you are new and start *** you often suffer in a beat-down because those ladies are vicious.

    But they are also hilarious.

  • I need to go to the tax office to take care of my vehicle registration (that is a year past due. lol) today since I'm home and not working.... but I really don't wanna!

  • Come.the.F.On! Whatever is on the deck is NOT coming off with a pressure washer. You spent an hour spraying that 8 foot square area while my child was trying to fall asleep, and after a 10 minute break you're back at it? You hate us? Fine, we hate you too.

    FIL or neighbors?

  • Neighbors! We're home. For some crazy reason Tracey got up from lunch at noon and declared she was ready for a nap. Of all the days...it ended up taking her an hour to fall asleep. Thank goodness she is still sleeping.

It still blows my mind that they are so angry with you over something a contractor did.  You apologized, you tried to make amends.  I just don't get it.

  • DH somehow managed to wipe our computer clean yesterday and I have no freaking clue what he did.  Our installed programs are still there but all documents, pictures, music, etc is freaking gone.

PMS + Sinus Headache = closed door to my office.

Speaking of my office, the freaking AC is still broken and it is freaking 66 freaking degrees in here.  Yes I know that it could be much worse and it could be not working at all but I really need to be able to feel my fingers to get through all of the excel spreadsheets from hell I need to complete today.

  • wow, that is fereezing cold!!!  i hope you have a snuggie or something.

because i know myself, ia m taking today off work to do all our vacation preparation and shopping... because i know if i wait until friday to try and do it, i['ll be rushed and trying to finish up business stuff so i can leave.  so, basically, i'd rather have our personal stuff in order, and be scurrying to and fro finishing up business stuff.

it is inadvertently causing me to be a budget vaca preparer, because DH doesn't get paid until Friday.

i wish there were coupons for beer...lol.  at least this year i won't be shopping with a stubborn DH who thinks I'm crazy when I say you can't buy beer in Concan.  we got there last year and when he heard you had to drive 20 miles for beer, he looked at me like "Oh...so um, I guess you DID know what you were talking about..."

    yeah.

  • One of my employees was diagnosed with Mono this morning and was told to stay home for the rest of the week. So now I have to do her work on top of my own already overflowing work. I also think it very odd as just yesterday I wondered to myself if I could have it because I am so freaking tired.

I was just telling Kimmer how convenient a bathroom sandwich assembly line would be.  I could eat and not have to travel far to pee every 12 minutes!

If her mono was anything like my mono, she'll need to stay home for more than a week.  I don't mean to make you stress out more, but mono was horrible.  She probably won't be herself for at least a good 3+ months.

Off topic, but when I was in the hospital for that month before E was born I had to log my pee.  My average was 13 times a day.  Every.Day.

Did you have to log quantity too?  I realize that's a really odd question but sometimes I feel like I pee a gallon and I must have the biggest bladder on earth.  I'm always curious how much I actually pee.  Big Smile

Yup.  Average was 400-600 mls.  "Big ones" were 800 mls.  Those would generally be the ones when I was sleeping and woke up reaaaaallly had to pee!
