The kids and I just came back from the zoo. Every time we go, I'm annoyed and amused at what people tell their kids. We were at the wallaby exibit and about 12 different parents told their kids, "oh, look! Kangaroos!" Okay, I get that not everyone knows that they are not actually kangaroos. BUT then one mom exclaimed, "LOOK, HONEY! There's a baby in his pouch. That kangaroo has a baby in his pouch!" And - call me an animal fact snob, but I would have thought that most people get that boys don't have pouches.
If I'm not mistaken, there are descriptions of the animals at each exhibit, no? Can these parents not read?
Hahaha - This is funny. Maybe she is just a really big fan of the movie Junior.
