I got a FB message from this guy I know through my sister/cousins asking if we were coming to the wedding next weekend. Thing is, we didn't get an invitation. Everyone in my family did...we didn't. I really didn't think it was a big deal. We don't personally hang out, we live in Houston, etc.
I really really wanted to go!! But J already invited the ILs in and I have a feeling there will be hurt feelings on their side if we say "hey, thanks for coming, watch my kid and we're going to a wedding." Plus, Cooper was pretty well pissed at me all day for leaving him last week and over the weekend.
But I still really wanted to go! It will be a nice wedding, great band, good food and a lot of fun. AND it is MY turn to drink and have DH drive home. Ugh.
Where is the wedding?
College Station - Traditions club. But these people don't do anything halfway. So the nosey hotel person in me wants to see it. It would have helped if we'd been invited to begin with!!! :-) I didn't tell him that though.

all i know is im so glad she came out to play because i need some laughs and the response gave me just that!
We made ice cream on Sunday and I may never ever have to walk into a Baskin Robbins again for nutty coconut. Mine came out perfectly. I'll also gain 20 pounds eating it

there was a recipe in this month's family fun for ice cream made in a ziplock bag. I keep meanign to try it.
It was the groom that emailed me. Cindy - I'd love to have you tag along! Sounds like a plan.
I think he probably intended on inviting us and forgot, or it got lost in the mail. His FI is a piece of work and he and his family are doing everything.
Remember the guy a few years ago that was dating the psycho who wouldn't meet him? She was in the hospital and didn't want him to see her that way? This is the guy. He met this girl through my sisters bff and they both dated and now are getting married. I'm sad because it is a rebound relationship for both of them (although he never really dated the other girl). I don't know much about her, but I feel like he could do better.
I was pretty sure that Cooper was going to cry himself into throwing up today. He started throwing a fit and wouldn't stop crying. Full on standing in the middle of the room, screaming like a banshee. I kept waiting on him to throw up as a result. Finally I got fed up, grabbed him and put him in the crib. Less than 5 min later her was out.
I'm sure he's teething but that kid was a mess tonight. He was just to PISSED.
It is not even 8 am and I already know that I have to work an alcoholic beverage into my calories for today. Except that I can't because my Apex (BodyBugg) account says that it's expired even though it's an automatic monthly renewal membership.
Add to that the fact that I dropped and broke my electric griddle this morning, the AC at work is still freaking jacked up, and my groin muscle pain is back and hurts when I run and I'm all geared up for a craptastic Wednesday.
I should just close my door now.

Stuff like that seriously stresses me out. Hope it all works out and they show up soon.
