JC and Kinsey are having a baby!?

I haven't listened to that show in years, but I used to be an avid listener! OMG...nuts. Last time I was listening, they had just gotten engaged!

Yes! They announced today she is 3.5 months along and is due late Dec./early Jan. They don't know the sex yet but JC wants a boy and they have nicknamed the baby T-Rex. JC wants to name the baby Cannon and Kinsey likes Lola.

They weren't preventing but weren't trying either so it was sort of a surprise. She told him by putting notes on their dogs and notes on the fridge that said first comes love with a pic of her and him, next comes Dex and Deliliah, with a pic of their dogs, then comes marriage with a pic of their wedding day. (which is the part that had me boo-hoo-ing)

He said he freaked out like, OMG I got a girl pregnant how am I going to tell my parents?!? Haha!

/Kidd Kraddick in-depth recap over Big Smile

How cute! When was the wedding?

I love JC. He's so freakin cute, you just want to squeeze him. And she's going to make the most beautiful pregnant girl ever. Puke. haha. I'm just jealous, really. Wink

They got married almost a year ago.

I'm out of the loop. I miss being able to listen to that show. When I changed jobs, they stopped allowing radios in our cubes, (stupid rule) so I couldn't listen anymore. And I don't have a routine enough morning schedule now to listen.

  • Summer - Oh I forgot about the Turkey Trot.  And that's a good ways out, so it's actually attainable.  I think I will look into it.  Thanks!

Leslie - that's what I told DH I wanted to do.  The C25k or whatever it's called.  I asked if he would do it with me and he said maybe.  I can run, just not for very long.  I ran yesterday.  I did four blocks around my neighborhood, so that was about 20 - 25 minutes.  I would have kept going, but I started getting dizzy.  LOL!  I'm a dork.

  • 1. Since it's father's day weekend, what is your best/favorite memory with your dad? Most recently: my Dad and I went to Indianapolis for the Indy 500 100th Year Race. It was so much fun :) Things we do all the time: going to SFA Home Coming Football every year

    2. What are you looking forward to most this weekend, not father's day related? I'm a gtg with dfw nestie Joann (jharrison71684) on Saturday :)

    3. What is one food item you crave that makes it very hard to lose weight/stay in shape? Nachos

    4. Pick a TV show, and tell me a character that you think  represents you the best.  Lily from How I Met Your Mother...I too am a hopeless romantic.

    5. Do you have any goals set that you would like to accomplish before the end of the year?  I want to become more organized at home.

I generally don't listen in the summer unless I have to go somewhere earlier in the day.  Otherwise, I listen during the school year.

That really just made me LOL.

Sorry, it has nothing to do with you at all.

  •  1. Since it's father's day weekend, what is your best/favorite memory with your dad? My favorite memory with my dad is our road trips every summer to see his family in Iowa.  He drove a little single cab Toyota truck with leather seats and no AC.  We would go in July and it was miserably hot, but we always played little road trip games along the way and the most fun with him then.

    2. What are you looking forward to most this weekend, not father's day related?  Getting through it quickly so I can see DH on Monday!  :)  That is the only time I wish the weekends would come and go!

    3. What is one food item you crave that makes it very hard to lose weight/stay in shape? a Super-Sonic Cheeseburger or Chicken Express....my mouth is watering now!

    4. Pick a TV show, and tell me a character that you think  represents you the best. I would say Meridith on Grey's.  She and Christina's "anti-bubbly" relationship remind me so much of me and my best friend.

    5. Do you have any goals set that you would like to accomplish before the end of the year? I would really like to be pregnant and hopefully have the rest of our credit cards paid off.
  • 1. Going and getting ice cream when I was little.

    2.  Deepthi's wedding!  Also we are going to our favorite Thai place tonight, Bangkok  City.  We haven't been in forever.

    3. Pizza.  We eat it ALOT.

    4.  Probably Charlotte from SATC.  But since I don't watch regular TV, that's a hard one.

    5.  Get back to my wedding weight.

  • ETA: I quoted the conversation about the unhealthiness of CFA chicken salad sandwiches, but it apparently didn't take.

    * crying quietly at my desk *

No, just kidding, it's okay. I kind of figured that, and I was planning for a while to find a recipe so I can make it at home with FF mayo. I was just needing the nutrition-facts kick in the pants. :)

  • 1. Since it's father's day weekend, what is your best/favorite memory with your dad?

I will always remember him screaming for me at all my Pee Wee Drill Team Competitions. He used to wear the team t-shirt and a button with my drill team picture on it.

    2. What are you looking forward to most this weekend, not father's day related?

Our Friend's wedding, but not too excited about the ceremony being outside in a 103 temperature!

    3. What is one food item you crave that makes it very hard to lose weight/stay in shape?

    Chinese Food

    4. Pick a TV show, and tell me a character that you think  represents you the best.

I can't really think of anyone.

    5. Do you have any goals set that you would like to accomplish before the end of the year?

To save enough money for a down payment on a house.

  •  1. Since it's father's day weekend, what is your best/favorite memory with your dad?  His 50th birthday.  I got him a box of Depends (I was going to be nice until I heard what everyone else was getting him and then decided to add that as a present).  He said it was horrible but he's been going around and telling everyone what he got over the last few months (and then calling me and telling me who he told and also how my nephew has been embarrassing him when he sees my dad) so I don't think he was that embarrassed because he has been getting a kick out of it.

    2. What are you looking forward to most this weekend, not father's day related? Getting new clothes.  Hopefully DH and I can do something date'ish and do something different than the same old, same old.

    3. What is one food item you crave that makes it very hard to lose weight/stay in shape? One?  Sweets.  Eating out because it's simple (I also just discovered CFA nuggets).  And I've been craving Root Beer in an abnormal way (for me) the last few weeks.

    4. Pick a TV show, and tell me a character that you think  represents you the best. Oh gosh, I have no idea.

    5. Do you have any goals set that you would like to accomplish before the end of the year? Finish up our E-Fund and maintain regular exercise.  My summer goals are to have a new job and have a garage sale.
  •  1. Since it's father's day weekend, what is your best/favorite memory with your dad?

Probably the road trips we took during the summer. He would give me the map, and I would decide where we went next. Even though it's been 11 years since he passed, I still really miss him.

    2. What are you looking forward to most this weekend, not father's day related?

Going out with friends tomorrow night.

    3. What is one food item you crave that makes it very hard to lose weight/stay in shape?

    Pizza and ice cream.

    4. Pick a TV show, and tell me a character that you think  represents you the best.

    I have no idea.

    5. Do you have any goals set that you would like to accomplish before the end of the year?

Lose 15 pounds and sell our house
