3. You and your husbands occupations I'm a Senior Financial Analyst and Erik is a Senior Accountant (boring math people!)
4. What hobbies do you and your husband have? I enjoy crafts, baking, photography, reading, and Erik enjoys reading, movies and video games.
5. What city are you currently living in? Any plans on moving? I bought a condo in North Reading, MA (about 20 min north of Boston) in 2007 and with the housing market we will be living there for a little while. When we do move it will remain in this area.
6. Do you have any pets? Two cats (Salem and Lucy) and a black lab mix (Joe)
7. What is your "one year plan"... Get pregnant, save money and pay off debt, replace the carpet in the living room of the condo.
8. "Five year plan"...Get into a single family house instead of a condo, have a couple of babies, just get settled in life!
9. What would you like changed on this board to make it more fun and post worthy?? I feel like I read a lot of posts over here, but don't post back as often. Not as much to talk about or contribute maybe? I do enjoy the more interactive stuff like surveys and quizzes, and the SS and Book Challenge. I like the ideas that have some up and think we can get this board back to where it was! Some of the "regulars" don't post as much, which I do miss.
Oh, and GTGs are great when people are up for them! I think it s a great way to connect off of the board.

4. What hobbies do you and your husband have? I like photography, knitting, reading and baking. Jon likes baseball, football, video games, and computer programming.
5. What city are you currently living in? Any plans on moving? We live in Brooklyn, NY. We're hoping to move into a bigger apartment within a year, while continuing to save for a house.
6. Do you have any pets? Not yet. We want to find an apt that will let us have cats!
7. What is your "one year plan"... To pay off debts and save up cash for a new place.

4. What hobbies do you and your husband have? I am a total crafter and cake decorator. DH loves building computers, video games, working out, playing with our pup and we both love movies, music and going out to really good restaurants.
5. What city are you currently living in? Any plans on moving? Syracuse, NY Where we both have lived since we were little kids. We bought a house almost 2 yrs ago and for now we are staying put.

7. What is your "one year plan"... Work on the house a little at a time, plan and finally go on our honeymoon!

9. What would you like changed on this board to make it more fun and post worthy?? I've been happy with the way the board is going... A few surveys are okay, but I often just skip them. I like more conversational stuff, non-forced, I've made friends here, and I like hearing about their lives. I love seeing into people's lives (in both a noncreepy and the creepy way).
I must say.... screw SMELLOVISION.... With all the holiday baking and WFD that's going on, I want TASTE-o-vision!

3. You and your husbands occupations I'm getting my phd in aquatic ecology, Scot is a database analyst.
4. What hobbies do you and your husband have? we have too many. We've been ballroom dancing for just over a year, Scot's a drummer and singer in 2 bands, but also has a solo vocal guitar thing. I love to crochet, photography, and running.
5. What city are you currently living in? Any plans on moving? Columbus, Ohio. No big moving plans for about 5 years, then we'll see.
6. Do you have any pets? 3 crazy cats and 1 pug/boston terrier mix.
7. What is your "one year plan"... Continue work on the house, start our debt pay-down system in January and have everything paid off by December, make it to Europe next fall for our anniversary.
8. "Five year plan" Possibly start TTC in 2012, try to get at least 2 big world travel trips in, at the end of five years decide on our next phase (I'll be done with grad school by then)
9. What would you like changed on this board to make it more fun and post worthy?? Maybe like a weekly quiz/survey? Not to frequent, but they can be fun. To frequent = mega boring.
March 2011 - IUI #1 = BFN
April 2011 - IUI #2 = BFN
May 2011 - Monitored IUI cycle to see what's going on. Ha! Tons of follicles, none big enough to do insemination.
June 2011 - Nothing - unexplained (probably stress) 58 day cycle.
July 2011 - Switch from Clomid to Letrozole. Let's get these follicles growing! 2 follicles big enough, HCG injection, BFN
Break taken to focus on our marriage and less on not getting pregnant.
February 2012 - Ready to get back on the horse and try IUI #4 - - BFN
May 2012 - IUI #5 with Letrozole and HCG - BFN
June 2012 - Doctor wants to move to injectible IUI or IVF. We don't want IVF but agree to do injections.
Currently - Saving money for Injectible IUI cycle and taking the first steps towards adoption!

3. You and your husbands occupations I'm the QC Admin Asst for a toy company, Ron is a manager at Aldi Foods
4. What hobbies do you and your husband have? We both love hockey (even though the Devils are sucking a$$ big time this season), I love reading, cooking/baking and photography, Ron plays in an indoor volleyball league, has played on both roller hockey and softball teams and plays video games.
5. What city are you currently living in? Any plans on moving? Keyport, NJ. We bought our house two years ago so probably not for at least 5 years when we won't have to pay back anything to the state for the first time homeowners thing we got.
6. Do you have any pets? my cat Peanut I rescued her from the shelter. Ron originally hated cats but now she's his favorite!
7. What is your "one year plan"... Replace the hardwood floor in the living room and TTC (we're barrier free as of this month but not "officially" trying yet) and for me to find a better job

3. You and your husbands occupations - DH is a Project Engineer/Manager in Oil & Gas but is currently unemployed. I am an engineer for NASA working on the science experiments for the International Space Station.
4. What hobbies do you and your husband have? We met in country & western dance classes. We like traveling, antiquing and outdoor activities (camping, hiking, wave runnering, sailing ...). He likes hunting and motorcycling.
5. What city are you currently living in? Any plans on moving? We live in the Houston area in a house I bought 2 years ago. No plans to move but when he gets a job he will likely have a long commute across town.
6. Do you have any pets? Two shelties 9 and 2. The oldest was our ring bearer.
7. What is your "one year plan Romantic honeymoon (we need to figure out where). House maintenance including landscaping the backyard. As long as he is unemployed, continue to take long weekends for travel.

There seems to be a disconnect with the board lately (I know I'm not the only one who thinks so...), so I though it would be a good idea to do a short "getting to know you" survey...I guess to reorient us all to each other
