Thanks for including me.

Summer, you always do this. You think you've failed a test and you end up doing well! Girl, you got this!
Good job on the test!
Congratulations!!!!!
Congratulations, everyone, on your accomplishments this week. My only one is that I have a week until the DR and my MOH just text me that we get free wifi at most places within the hotel, including our room!!!!
You read my mind! Congrats Summer.
Whoa! There is some straight up for real craziness going on the Bump right now.

This is probably the craziest thing I have seen on these boards so far.
Congrats everyone on their AW's from the cow to free wifi to possibly working at home (and T&P's headed your way).
I feel the same way Dana. I did not want to get up this morning.
My AW: my class has been canceled tonight! YAY! I get to stay home. I also finished a book so I can move on to our book club book again.
It's like the Twilight Zone at work today. One CW has not shown up today (she didn't call in either that I know of but the likely case is that I was left out of the loop, which is odd on some levels) and another one is wearing a dress, which is beyond very unusual if you knew her.
Wow. That's insane. I only read the first link (I'll read the rest tonight at home, even risking freaking DH out -- for some reason he ALWAYS notices when I'm reading a thread of TB, and doesn't 100% believe me that it's for comedy value, not TTC info).
Okay, so I'm reading some of this and the only thing I'm going to address is this: You actually don't need to have any sort of proof or inkling to call these people. All you have to do is have some person with a vendetta against you to call these people. My uncle called Adult Protective Services on my brother because he (Uncle D) was mad because my dad asked him to leave the house. It was a nightmare for a while and the case has now been closed but it was extremely upsetting on multiple levels.
My aunt had CPS called on her because someone from the neighborhood came over to the house just after they moved from CA to Plano and was appalled that, after two days, my aunt did not have the whole house in order for my autistic cousin.
So, in my experience, you don't always need any sort of proof or suspicion to call those people.
Ugh, I know, I know! You're right! Thanks ladies!
I got bored pretty quickly. I'm with whoever said I don't care enough about strangers on the internet to get that worked up about it. Now if it was one of you guys, that's different.
ETA: Congrats Summer!
With All the Trimmings
Just do it!
And after reading all that (because I'm bored), I will never go over to TB now if I ever get pregnant. That is pure and utter BSCness.
I made that mistake once, and this bump situation just reiterates that you really should be aware of what you're putting out there on the Internet for the entire world and complete strangers to see and find. All they need is one picture, or name, or anything. Google is a powerful tool.
Congrats on the new job and have fun in San Diego!!

It *IS* scary. That entire thread just reiterates why I ran away from the "mommy" boards in the first place, but I know that kind of stuff happens on many of the international boards. I just do NOT get it.
Obviously, there's a lot of our lives that's out there. It's part of how we make our living, and we're careful, but we know we open ourselves up to some risks.
We did remove SOME identifying information (just address, and things like that) from the website, though... about 6 months ago, this girl who had passed ALL my email & phone crazy tests showed up to a consult completely high. Not stoned... HIGH. Scratchy, licking her gums, wouldn't hold eye contact, couldn't form coherent sentences, HIGH. She wasn't like that one the phone. And this girl had client paperwork that included my home address. And kept talking about my kids. I was TERRIFIED.
To this day, not even sure if the chick was really engaged. That experience changed a LOT of how we interact with people on the ole interwebs.
ETA: Should have also stated that when we ended the meeting, homegirl followed us to the store where we went shopping, and stared at us between aisles while talking about us (using our names) loudly on cell-phones, and then followed us when we left. Mack had to lose her in a residential area.
An adventure, to be sure.
Yay!!!!
She lives in Lewisville. Why are the crazies from Texas?
Bio
Haha! No hate here.
That's a big deal! Enjoy it now... 4 months later, you'll be like, "really? Why didn't I encourage her to just lay around more?"
And REALLY, you're going to have a great time in Maine. I love that part of the country in the summer!
Seriously. Makin' us look bad up in here.
The one who took her kid out of the carseat is from Lewisville but the one who looked her up on Google isn't. At least I don't think so.
Correct. And honestly she's not all that crazy. She made a bad judgement call. We've all done it. There's no such thing as a perfect parent. And I don't think it's right for someone to get on their highhorse and call CPS over something like that.
People do things like that every day, they just don't broadcast them on international message boards. So is she crazy, IMO? No. Not at all. She's a parent who made a mistake.
Or maybe she doesn't think what she did was wrong. Well, there are parents out there who do FAR worse things.
Congrats!
I'm going to join the group who wants this day/week/month to end.
SuperMcG - that's really creepy! I had some vendors reluctant to have me mail them paperwork/checks -- now I think I know why, because it was to their home address, and they didn't want anyone having that info if not absolutely necessary. (But thank goodness they did in my case, because I'm not a stalker and I hate driving hours upon hours to get somewhere in DFW).
It's a good group to be in.
