Re: August 2 randoms
That is nuts! I would talk to an electrician.
On the plus side, I've heard the larger the stone, the less intensley painful they are. Lucky you!
I'm betting they will let you wait a month before surgery. They are usually only in a hurry if it's extremely painful or if there is a chance the stones could interfere with your liver and cause long term damage. "Utah" probably won't be going anywhere.
75% of my ceiling fans are remote operated. 75% of my ceiling fans don't currently work. Just so happens those 75% are the same. I need to call an electrician.
Also, I think that is hilarious.
Question: When your neighbors turn off their light, does it shut your fan off?
I just lied to my boss.
We were talking about books and I mentioned that The Help is very good. She asked if I own it. I knew the next question was going to be, could she borrow it.
Even though I do own it, I lied and told her I didn't and I got it from the library. I've lended her books twice in the past. The first one, she did eventually return, but it was like six months later. The second one, I never got back because her kids destroyed it.
So, I'm not lending her anymore of my books!
I would have lied too!
Puns! I love them, thanks Chymes. Recovery should be speedy. Our own DesandMol is now my gallstone mentor.
Mol, yeah, not so much intense pain, but nausea... I am lucky. I've been reading about the pain, and I'm sorry you experienced it.
I can't believe she didn't buy you a replacement book. I know it isn't the same as getting back the book you actually read, but at the very least I would have given you a B&N gift card.
Yup. That's not cool. I have 5 weeks between classes after this weekend. I think The Help is on my reading list.
She sent me an email to tell me about it and offered to replace the book or give me a gift card. But, I kind of felt weird saying essentially, "Yes, buy me a new book, please." So, I just told her not to worry about it.
For real.
I thought so too.
Yeah - she put you in an awkward position. I would have responded the same way as you did.
And after that, I would have lied to her about the library, too!
