Re: Whatever-we-do-on-Thursdays Thursday.
Facebook is down. The end is near.
This morning I drank a frappucino and listened to Zac Brown's "Colder Weather" - between those things and the AC I was able to convince myself that it was much cooler outside.
You girls continue to amaze me. The sheer volume of support over the last few days has been awesome. I am officially out for a pregnancy this month as of this morning and because of you girls it was no big deal. I didn't cry or even lose my good mood. I wish I had tons of money - I would send each and every one of you a big bunch of flowers.
I love your enthusiasm this morning. I'm dragging a little today... but in a much better mood than yesterday, which is good, because I wanted to cause some bodily harm to someone yesterday.
ETA: Leslie, I'm sorry to hear this wasn't the month, but I'm glad you're feeling positive about everything!
I got NO sleep last night, tossing and turning and couldn't stop thinking about my interview today.
It's a great opportunity, but I feel like I'm underqualified for it. PLUS, it's in Fort Worth. Which means that it would be an hour commute one-way. Not fun for 4-5 days a week.
But it pays really well, is the teaching experience I need, and she's pretty much already hired me.
I'm torn and very indecisive. Boo!!!!
I read somewhere that there was a hacker group aiming to "kill" Facebook. I wonder if that has anything to do with it...
Leslie - I am so proud of you! And so happy to hear that you are in such good spirits.

Ahhh Leslie, you made me smile this morning. I am so glad you're in positive spirits!! Atta girl!
You know each one of us will be elated when you announce your pregnant!!
FB stuff...that's crazy. Good thing I can't get on right now.
I have somehow lost like 3 or 4 lbs that I had gained since the wedding. I have no idea how, but I'm really excited. LOL
Leslie - I think it's awesome that even with the news you are such a good mood. Trust it's not just the support it's the person you are and it's becoming more and more apparent how wonderful of a parent you will be when it finally happens.
I know it seems silly, but as motivation to get to my goal wieght. DH said I can finally get a dog if I hit it! After having to give up my cat before the wedding(still get updates and she's doing well) I really want a pet. He's not allergic to dogs, but doesn't want one 100% and his family are all frightened by them. At least he's willing to compromise and let me get a dog.

Leslie - I'm sorry to hear this wasn't the month, but happy to see your spirits are still high.
mnkate - if it's a great opportunity, I say do it. Especially if it's not too long-term. It's usually worth it to sacrifice a little in the beginning.
Bio Good Times
Leslie - Way to go with the attitude this morning! We all know what stress does to our bodies... causing breakouts, messing with sleep, the works. It just makes sense that it would wreak havoc on TTC efforts. At the very least, you're going to FEEL better now, and that will be worth the world.
I have to go into downtown FW today to pick up our cameras that we dropped off to get cleaned. Normally, not a big deal. But our camera shop is about 2 blocks off where the new In-N-Out opens today, and I am dreading that traffic.
Thanks Ladies!
Kate - Where is your husband working again? And where are you guys considering living? I can't seem to keep the location details of the California girls straight!
I am actually in a pretty darn good mood today.
I am so excited to see the movie this weekend with some of you ladies!
"...And he just came out of my imaginary birthday cake." -its apelila
I'm glad you are in such good spirits, Leslie.
My (lame) AW: I have an account I have to log into at work maybe once a year and I can never remember the password so they always have to reset it for me. Well even though there were issues with my last name and it was pretty pointless that I remembered, I remembered my last password!
I've also gotten back into the habit of not leaving work at work so I am making it a goal to stop it.
This is something I had to learn and make sure I did! I was just too much to work all day and then worry about or do it at home.

This year has been one of change for me, honestly. I now take my lunch instead of never leaving my desk and don't worry about what will be said to me when I get back for leaving it and I take my sick time and vacation time and don't worry about what heck I will catch when I get back. It's seems like you spend your life at work and most of your week there but you don't. It took me finally realizing that to make the most of what time I am not at work. I didn't get a chance to post to SA but I'm sorry you didn't get the promotion Deepthi.
You got the interview for a reason so don't sell yourself short, just rock it!
I really wanted these beds from West Elm & Target but they were so expensive (reasonable for beds, but mroe than I wanted to spend). I found a tutorial online so that I can make it myself for under $200! Sooooo excited!
You want to make them together? Here is the tutorial I am going to use...I plan on getting fabric at Joann's/Michael's/Hobby Lobby (whoever has it cheaper) and use foam padding in addition to the batting.

Yes, it is almost as dark as night up here but no sign of rain yet.

Me too. When you get all moved and everything, you can work days as a yoga instructor and evenings as a furniture maker for your favorite DFW girls
Holy smokes! Rain on the radar! Not sure if we will get it in Dallas, but I've got my fingers crossed. FYI - I had no idea until y'all posted about it
As for In-N-out, Chelsea, I hope your trip wasn't too bad today. They are building one at Midway and LBJ which is just a few miles from my house, and I take Midway to/from work every day. I think I'm going to have to find a new route home when it opens. I do not want to deal with that traffic.

Fort Worth actually wasn't that bad at all. They have the traffic really well directed, and if you know where you're going, it's not too confusing. Still too long a line for me to wait in with two munchkins in the car, but I'm glad to have an In-N-Out closer to home now!
Thanks for the link!
Oh my gosh - you & I are such doppelgangers, it's creepy.
I also am making my own headboard - almost the same one!!!! I refinish a lot of furniture, so was just going to wing it.
I would totally collaborate and make one with you!!!
He works in Richardson, and we just signed on a house in Prestonwood. So it will be about a 50 minutes commute one-way for me.
Not ideal, but it's a great opportunity. I just plan on getting a lot of books on tape!!!
