Re: the business of being born
Oh, and along these lines, a word of advice for the pregnant ladies out there. Talk to your husband now and give him a "God forbid something happens and the baby needs to stay in the NICU and I get sent home with out it, PLEASE remove the carseat from the car."
Talk about a hurt piece. I was already completely torn apart about checking out of the hospital with no baby. Then I get to the car and there it is. The car seat staring me in the face with no baby in it. It might not be such a big deal to others that have gone through it, but it was very upsetting for me. I won't even install the carseat until the baby is here and coming home this time around.
