I think my email account got hacked.
Gmail informed me that my account was accessed from Lithuania at midnight last night. Grrrrrr...
I've changed my gmail password and implimented their high-security login procedures. I've changed passwords for sites that hold financial information like banks, Paypal, and Amazon. I've changed passwords for social networking sites. I've cursed out the country of Lithuania.
Is there anything else I should be doing right now?
I am thankful of Gmail for alerting me of this. That's pretty cool.

I suppose it could be. It's not nearly as bad now, but it still comes and goes about every 15 min or so and lasts maybe 15-20 sec.

Same thing happened to Scott's gmail about a month ago. I think it is nice Gmail can alert you, just wish they could prevent it from happening at all.
Did anything end up happening after he received the alert? Did he have problems with other accounts or were his contacts spammed?
His contacts were spammed. But from what we know, that is all that happened though.

Mine was hacked last month, too, from India. I changed my password and that was about it. I don't store my passwords for other things in my email. I didn't hear of anyone getting spammed, either. I think you should be fine.
The bad news: ArtPrize is filling their open position internally right now because it's too close to the event to hire someone new. (My friend works there so I got the inside scoop.)
The good news: I was selected to interview for an ArtPrize street team member temp position. The interview is this afternoon.
Bummer and good luck at the interview. As a street team member, what would you be doing?

I'm getting excited for Artprize this year.
The street team people direct visitors, answer questions...kind of a resource for anyone not sure what they're doing. I'm not entirely sure of the "job description" but I'm sure I will find out more today. You get a small stipend and some AP merchandise.
I agree that it doesn't seem like it should be AP time yet. It's always the last part of September and first part of October.
I specifically planned our vacation around Art Prize this year. The last two years, we've been out of town for a large chunk of Art Prize. I didn't want to miss any of it this year though.
Although, I may regret that when I get tired of dealing with the downtrown traffic and crowds by the end.
I just found out my parents are planning to go back to FL in 3 weeks.
(they spend their winters in FL and their summers in MI) I thought for sure this year they would stay longer, so they could see James more. But no... I am really upset about this. James and I won't see them again till we get down there in Feb.

Mira, I'm sorry about your parents heading out. Do you think asking them to stay a week or two longer would go over well?
