Re: 3 days pregnant...

I've never heard of that sentiment from them. I know many mormons that are in the military. Many of them are big fans of the military lifestyle becuase the great medical & other benefits that make it affordable to have numerous children.
I'm a member of the Church of Christ (a pretty conservative church at that) and I've never heard this before. Could you be thinking Jehovah's Witness? They believe only 144,000 people will go to heaven.
No, it's a certain branch of the Church of Christ. I know lots of CoC in Houston that have never heard of that which is why I was specific about Rocky Mountain and SW U.S. regions. "Church of Christ" is written on the sign outside the church I went to every Sunday with my grandparents. They are of this faith and of this barefoot and pregnant teaching. The women dress a lot like the FLDS as well and have the long in the back, short big poof in the front style. I was admonished for years by my family for getting a bachelor's degree, much less a master's degree, in addition to just flat out being the black sheep in my thoughts and ideas about life in general. Grounding me from my summer reading list was a popular punishment for me in high school. Wow I feel like Harry Potter remembering this insanity!
They have relaxed on women in education for healthcare areas though - my younger cousin is a pharmacist and still a highly regarded member of the church and still dresses like the FLDS, while also yielding her opinion to her husband's at all times. In fact, going to pharmacy school was his wish for her, so technically she was obeying him in that regard too.
There are a lot of people in their and neighboring towns like this, and who are Mormons as well. Specific faith differences go undiscussed but they live in harmony because of their same philosophies about family structure and such. There are also Catholics and Assembly of God churches in the area but the two circles don't often mix.

I know, but it would be difficult to make a ticker say 3 days pregnant since they show you being pg since your last period. So her ticker is basically saying she's on day 3 her period.
and you all know she really is going to end up pregnant from that night, murphy's law or whatever controls teen pregnancy vs IF.
LOL @ how upset some of those posters are about it.
This was my favorite:
Thank GOD it was MUD!
But now I'm a little perturbed that she would choose an army wife kind of AE because that is not a nice stereotype to paint, even if there are enough cases to support the stereotype...

yes that's jehova witness
As a military wife I didn't find it offensive at all. I think the real military wives with those stupid sparkly tickers are far worse.
Oh come on HP, you know you're coveting at least three big, sparkly, glittery tickers that say "PROUD MILITARY WIFE!!!!!!" "COMBAT BOOTS AND HIGH HEELS!!!!".
I know you want them.
