Re: Tuesday randoms!
I was not involved in the accident, only slowed by it--another thing to be thankful for
And thank you so much for saying I'm well suited to the challenge. That is always wonderful and encouraging to hear, especially when professors seem to be trying to make me question whether I know anything at all and it seems that everyone around me is equally or better suited to the challenge...
Please share your pro/con list with us!
Planning 17 events is insane. You rock, Kasa!
Regarding the professors: Just think, each day that you successfully face them, you are one day closer to being able to successfuly appear before a judge.
Regarding your classmates: I think you are a step ahead of them because I'd be willing to bet that you've put more thought into the decision to attend law school than most of them have. You've definitely earned your right amongst them.
Very true. I feel that I've remained shockingly cool under pressure, but it is so painful when they continue to press you until you falter. I got randomly called on in Torts today--that's two classes for anyone keeping track.
Aw, thanks for that. I'm trying *really* hard not to constantly try to rank myself compared to everyone else, which is a weakness of mine anyway and only made worse knowing that a mandatory curve looms in December.
Suze, I hope that you soon find the confidence in yourself that we all have about you. I can imagine that it's tested and attacked daily. You can do it - you are!
LOL, I think it will come around May
During orientation, a 3L told our class to write three things we really like about ourselves on a piece of paper and put it away. She said to pull it out when we are made to feel that there is *nothing* good about us, because that will happen this year.
Believe it or not, I have two main mantras that I try to repeat in my head everyday:
"Don't freak out" and "Trust yourself."

Pro: sounds comfy. Easy to slip into. Acceptable to wear when dropping of SS to the bus and to wear to the gym. I can get them at BBB & save 20%.
Con : umm, umm, they still kinda sound a bit ridiculous and are really just sweatpants.
Thanks for sharing! Hahaha - I was *trying* to come up with a con. I love comfy pants! The ridiculous aspect only adds to my desire to own them and announce "pajamajean time!" to Mike every time I would slip them on for lounging at home.
Ha! Love this!
