as much as I love Parenthood, I would never want to be in that family. They seem to have no outside friends. They just hang out with each other and are in everyone's business. It would be super annoying. I love a close family, but I want my own life. And they never see the other halves' parents and families. Where is Joel's family? how often does Hattie see her maternal grandparents? I mean they just had a baby but Christina has no other family? the young boy cant have a kiss without the whole family knowing. no thanks.
we see my husbands family once a week and that is plenty. These people stop into each other's houses every second day.
