Michelle, that is a really crappy situation you are in right now. Could you at least schedule a meeting with your boss to tell him what your honest thoughts are so he is not blind-sided?
I just heard what I hope is a rumor at work because if its not it will make me very upset.
I agree with this. That is a really tough situation. But I think it would be better if he maybe heard it directly from you, rather than from them.

Another B&M for me is:
I haven't figured out what is the source of the problem is with my new iphone's flash, but I'm thinking it is because I got a white one. I will be taking it to Apple soon to see what the deal is and probably get a black one if that is the problem.
EXAMPLE:
This was taken with my new iphone 4S
And this one was taken with my friend's iphone4 (what I had before)

Michelle, That's a definitely a bummer situation. I think I second BL's idea about calling a meeting just so you can explain to your boss why you said what you said.
BL, I know how much you love your job, so I hope nothing messes that up. Fingers crossed that the rumor is a rumor.

I read some forums that suggest that the flash is reflecting inward off of the glass against the white and making it look washed out. I have no idea if there is any truth to that whatsoever though.
