  Here is a truth: There ARE situations where a man has a completely secret life. When a person is a closet criminal. When a wife has NO IDEA that the man they married is a sicko. Because he is smart, charming and good at hiding things.

  The detective I talked to the day my X was arrested let me know that it is extremely rare for ANYONE to have any idea their SO/brother/father/coworker is a pedophile.

  If you wanna see a trainwreck, take a look at the many women who stay with these men after knowing the truth. I will tell you that since sharing my story there have been 4 women from TN and TB that have PMd me about their H's being caught in the same situation and worse than my X... all but one stayed with the man. It makes me sick. 

  Yep. scary huh?

  Truth-this is the scariest thing I have read all day, and "staying for the kids."  Ummm, he's a pedophile!  The best thing you can do for your kid is LEAVE!

  Also, I never get the reference to Achase as a trainwreck.  You seem to pretty much have your crap together and be working on yourself to make a better life for you and your kid.  I don't get how that is trainwreck.  You haven't even posted about dating or anything in a long time. 

  I think people find one story to hang on to.  Heck, I WAS a trainwreck in my past and thank goodness for it!  It gave me that push to go to counseling and better myself.  Just because I was really stupid in my past, doesn't mean I am stupid now.
