Angie, good luck to your DH!

Lacey, did you buy or are you still renting?

Tonight we're babysitting SIL's kiddos while they're at a wedding (11/11/11!). Tomorrow night is DH's birthday potluck gathering at our house. Other than that, I'm just going to be getting ready for my phone interview for the music librarian position at UNT on Tuesday!!

    Still renting.  :)

     Woo!!  Good Luck Anna.  :)

  • Happy Friday Ladies!!!! :)

I'm a little late to the party - but yeah. Been a busy day. I wish i was off today :(

Our wedding pictures came in last night!! I'm so excited. Shame my DH wont let me share them with anyone until sunday night. He doesnt want the whole world to get to see them before our parents...which i can see...but still! :)

     HAPPY BIRTHDAY LESLIE!!! :)

Hahaha. My hubby said when he went to GameStop this morning, there were 10-15 people in line getting that game! He was in there for about 30 minutes, because they had to manually type in the credit/debit card numbers because their systems were down.

What church do you go to? DH and I are trying to find someplace to hang out with other married couples, and he would love that!

Thats awesome that you sew. I couldnt sew if my life depended on it. LOL.

I watched him play the first 10 minutes of it, last night, and it looked super cool. then i crashed. haha.

We go to Heartland Church, in Carrollton, Tx. It's basically right off of 35E and 121.  It's our little haven.  There are tons of young people, and a lot of really open minds, which is nice, especially since we've both been judged before at other churches for having visible tattoos.   We go on Monday nights (The Net group is 18-30 college and careers) then volunteer and go to special events stuff :)

And sewing is not something I thought I'd be good at, as patterns are so confusing looking to me.  But, without a pattern, I made my halloween costume and realized I'm pretty nifty with a sewing machine!

Thats how I am with any game DH plays. I get bored watching him, and I just cant get into it. I like playing Mario Cart on the Wii. :) I wish we didnt live so far from Carrolton. We would love to go, but getting there would take FOREVER.

I remember learning how to sew in high school. We did easy stuff like pajama pants and pillow cases. That was fun, but I dont think I remember how to do any of it! LOL!

  • Thanks Lacey and Stephie!
  • Danielle - what area of town are you in, again?  I forget.  DH and I have been going to Watermark for the last several months, and we really like it.  It's very contemporary, but it is just so welcoming.  It's in Dallas, at 635 and 75.
  • Spending my day off with the hubby. We took the dogs to the vet and had lunch together. I bought the new Batman game last night and can't wait to start it tonight.

I'm in SW Fort Worth, right off of Hulen.

  • Ugh I am so bored.  I could have had this day off as a holiday but instead chose to take the day after Thanksgiving instead so I didn't have to take a personal day.  There is hardly anyone here and the people that are here are just getting ready for the party tomorrow.  I am soooo taking this off next year.

Yeh, probably a little far for you then.  Sorry :)
