My visa expires so I have ot move back to Canada. It's all very devastating. I haven't really talked about it much on here because I'm trying to ignore it, but I go home for good 5 weeks from today.
Morning. I've got a whole day full of cleaning. We had DH's cousin stay with us this weekend, and the place is a mess. That's what I get for having TWO videogame addicts in the house...
I also met up with another family member and his wife last night. We had a fantastic time, and his wife asked for some baking lessons. I'm looking through my recipes at easy things for me to teach them. SIL is hosting a potluck/baking class at her house at the end of the month. Should be fun!
ETA QOTD: I don't collect anything anymore. At my parents house, I have a collection of wine glasses and unusual cocktail glasses. I just don't have the space to store anything here, otherwise I'd have a huge collection of vintage glassware.

Today is cleaning day. I'm taking a small lunch/nest break.
I had a really fun weekend. Great dinner with friends at a Moroccan place on Friday. The most amazing couscous I've ever tasted! Then we went dancing.
Saturday went to the market for oysters and wine, then to a bbq at a friend's place. We ended up sleeping over, as we didn't want to drive after wards. M ended up sleeping the whole night without a diaper/pull-up!
QOTD: I don't purposefully collect anything, but looking around, I have a lot of statues and paintings from when we travel. So I guess we collect artwork from wherever we travel.
I also have a pretty big Tupperware collection that the husband makes fun of me about.

I haven't had a cigarette in 26 days. Now that I'm back, I figure the visual may help make things easier. And you guys will help hold me accountable.
Azure, that's another reason I haven't been around much. Not exactly the most pleasant person at times. Even H said he was afraid to come home a few nights.
Nearly afternoon! It was a good, but hard weekend. Saturday was my only good day. I spent Friday and Sunday in tears.
QOTD: Dust and also a photo book of everyplace we have visited. I hope to have an amazing library when we are old and gray!

Good morning--wow, I can't believe what I missed this weekend
Working on sending resumes out for a clerkship today then book club tonight.
QOTD: I used to collect pretty jewelry boxes from everywhere but stopped years ago. Nothing now.
I'll be finding work in Canada. I'm sure it'll be fine, but it's killing me at the moment.
I just got a call about temp work this afternoon, so I'm off, but you can all expect whiny AW posts in the future about me feeling sorry for myself lol.
It is well past morning here :-P I'm just checking in! Weekend was good, but too much running around :-P I prefer quiet weekends!
QOTD: I didn't think I collected anything, but I collect magnets - and I'm addicted to reusable shopping bags. I swear, I buy one everywhere we go! I can't help it :-P
