Aww. How are you handling being away for so long? I could stand to be pretty far fro my family and not fret over it too much. That is awesome you're going to be there for your BBF's baby! This year is the first year my BFF (and Bean's namesake) will be together. I plan to make that moment last as long as possible.

I won't lie, not being dragged into the family drama is pretty sweet. Wink

But I still miss the non-drama moments too. Like, my entire family is getting together for Thanksgiving this year. I'm the only one that won't be there. That's no fun. And with my Mom's Alzheimer's it's difficult knowing that when I get back she may be very different than she was the year before.

I remember you mentioning your best friend coming back to the U.S. That's so great that she and Bean are finally going to get to meet each other. And you'll have a new house to give your BFF a tour of too! Big Smile
