Is Philly the worst.airport.ever?

Re: Is Philly the worst.airport.ever?

  • Miami is the worst ever for me.

I had such a horrible horrible experience with workers at that airport that I will never fly American or fly thru Miami again if I can help it.

I understand there are delays etc but being laughed at, lied to, and had my luggage (purposely) rerouted to sit unattended all day at another airport takes the cake.

  • My worst airport experience ever was in Zanzibar.  I about went postal on someone trying to get out of there.

If we're talking domestically, LAX is the worst, closely followed by MIA and then JFK.

no way. FCO is MUCH MUCH MUCH worse

    Yes  worst. airport. experience. ever.

If we're talking US... PHL's on the list, but it's not at the top.  I could make a pretty compelling case for ORD.   Or IAD.

  • I hate PHL.  Rental cars are always sold out, the food in terminal D is awful and the security lines can be very slow.  It is much better though after some renovations.

  • The employees in PHL SUCK!!!!!

Living here, it is the main airport I fly from and hate it only because of the people. The worst for me...I missed a flight because the counter person saw me struggling with a bag and didn't help or offer the time warning.  She waited until I got to the counter, looked at her watch, and said well you missed it by 30 seconds. She could have easily said hey you only have 30 sec.  So after this, I sat there for 8 hours for the next flight.  She wouldn't even help me to get another flight.  I stood in front of her and called customer service, who immediately booked me first class on the next flight.
