Re: Happy Saturday!
Everything the light touches is my kingdom.
I'll post again here since I think my post on SB was eaten by TK.
I've been running errands all day and now I'm wrapping Christmas presents. H has a bachelor party tonight, so I'm going to see New Years Eve with a couple ladies from work. It looks pretty cute. I might forego a real dinner and just eat popcorn.
Popcorn's a whole grain. Totally counts as dinner. Have some PB cups and you've even got protein
I don't think I've even seen previews for New Year's Eve. I've not heard of it. Ha.
Everything the light touches is my kingdom.
So does mine. He has banned me from WebMD because I've convinced myself I had everything from diabetes to cancer in the past.
It's got a crap ton of stars in it. I think it's put out by the same people who did Valentine's Day a couple years ago. Julia Roberts, SJP, Jessica Biel, Lea Michele, Ashton Kutcher, etc. There's a bunch more. I think it's going to be a whole bunch of different vignettes and then at the end you find out they're all related somehow, like with Valentine's Day.
OH! I have seen previews for that then!
In the interest of full disclosure, I AM a bit of a hypochrondriac, but I swear all the things I want to get checked out are of legit concern
Everything the light touches is my kingdom.
That's heartbreaking and yet so sweet! Breaks me heart, I've never participated in research that's been an injustice to animals like depriving them simple life pleasures,

I know, right? I cant even imagine what kind of research that must have been but I hate it and it makes me angry. That one dogs eyes just killed me, no dog should have to go through that.

That's so exciting!
I'm watching Extreme Couponing. I'm thrilling.

Nebb- that link didnt work for me, but I'm assuming it was the Beagles that just got set free. So sad. Poor babies!
We'll we've been pretty productive today, Laundry is done, Christmas decor is up, I finished a wreath, and we had our bookcases delivered today. They were custom made and had to be brought in in sections.
Now DH is making salmon and asparagus for dinner and we'll watch some tv.
Oh, and I've been shopping online!
Hiyo! I'm trying to not be a biitch to H but it's hard. He came home from work and went right to bed. Meanwhile I've been taking care of a not happy baby all day and was looking forward to some parental backup. Plus I asked him to get me a cake ball kit for Christmas because i make them all the time, but then I saw a new gift for his sister that was a cake ball kit...wtf H? He said "well she doesn't know how to make them and you already do so she needs it". 1) Yes she does 2) She hates making them, which i why I make them, which is why I wanted the kit.
Then I tripped over random crap on the floor and sat down on the washing machine to have a good pity party/cry. Then I took a walk to the mailbox to clear my head and found Christmas cards and felt much better.

Those beagles make me sad, but also nervous.
My grandma adopted a retired racing greyhound (they actually market them to seniors as calm and relaxed, ha) and the dog was somewhat similar to the beagles, it had never been seen or felt grass, never been called a name, never had seen stairs, had had chemicals sprayed on it through a cage, etc.
She tried her hardest to train it, it was an alright dog (although never calm like they promised and always a screw loose), but as it got older it went senile fast and ended up biting my grandma. I know this can happen to any dog, but I blame its background. So sad.
I just hope those beagles go to good homes and I hope they remain peaceful in their later years
I'm sorry KW {{hugs}} Really, I've been there, of course I was a single mother. Will he at least take over when he wakes up. And I'd kick him in the shin over the cake ball thing!
Aww KW
Is there a chance he got you a kit too at least?

Is it just me, or has SB been a little slower than usual this week?
I'm just browsing around right now. It looks like H's nephew will be staying with us overnight, so we've got a movie on so he'll start winding down and hopefully sleep soon.

Totally slow but I attribute that to the glitches. i barely have to patience to come around.
