when I was living on my own in a rental I painted the kitchen cabinet doors 70s orange and green. I thought it was fun but no one else seemed to like it ;-)

Painting furniture always seems like a good idea, but then when I'm sanding for hours it becomes less fun lol. I'm so lazy!
I used Priceline.com to book a hotel for Chicago this sunday (overnight stay near Ohare to make sure my brother gets on hi flight ok), and got a 4 star hotel for $50 a room. SWEET!
Ugh I hate shots - they always make Ben fevery and clingy. Hope hers go ok!

I always had a pit in my stomach the day of doctor appointments even though I knew my kids would do well. i'm dreading this summer when Allison has to get several for school.
Her first round were rough. I'm hoping she does better this time. I'm giving her some Tylenol before, and I'll have a bottle to give her immediately after. *fingerscrossed*
School?! She's getting so big!
Luckily the landlord was my Dad :-) It was an old house on the farm.
Henry is doing yoga with the Sesame Street monsters while I'm doing some class work. I'm not sure who is more funny to watch doing yoga: Telly or Henry.

Des&Mol: yup. Give them a call. I'm the same way. Willa's birthday is in April. As a result of me not setting up the appointments earlier, her well child visits are now in June. Be sure to have them spaced correctly. My insurance will not cover a well child yearly check up if they are closer than 365 days apart.
I remember at the end of Willa's 2 year check, the doctor said no well childs until she turned 3. After those 3 every 3, and then 6 month appointments, It was freeing and weird to not be at the doctors as often
What, really? That will suck. I remember his well check last year was Jan 17th. This year its Jan 16th. I will be really upset if it's not covered!
Jim went to a business expo in TC in the fall. He put his business card into a few bowls, and one was for a prize. He knew he won something, but didn't know what. Yesterday he was up there for work and brought home a gift basket. In it:
crackers and cheese spreads, snack nuts, huge bottle of smart water, Gwen Frostic stationary, placemats, wine glasses, a big bird house, a water bottle, a travel coffee mug, and 6 bottles of TC wine.
Awesome prize!
And yes, it's definitely starting to feel weird (and you're right - freeing! hehe) that he goes less and less.

I'm a bit late getting on here. After getting home from taking SS to the bus I promptly returned to bed and stayed there until 10am. I have since taken down the outside Christmas decor and pick up some lunchmeat and yummy sourdough bread. I DID NOT go to the gym because I hurt. My shoulder muscle are revolting against exercise.
We received notice that our house is going to be auctioned Feb. 1st 2012. So at the very least we now know we have 6 months left here.

My random for the day: I ate at Yesterdog for the first time over my Christmas break.
