I really like the polka dots Lindsay posted. I actually had that bookmarked before.
I suggested the, no theme, just a color scheme idea but Bob thinks that we need a set, probably because it could include more laziness and less effort. I also think he would prefer to see it in person and most of the non-pink sets I like aren't available in the store. But we're leaving the walls the bluish gray that they are.
I like a few of those rugs. Do I need a decorative rug on carpet? Probably not but I like them.
Some of the parts of this set are a little too girly for me but I like that they aren't pink.

But we might wind up with some pink anyway. We went to Buy, Buy, Baby last night and I was looking at something else and he wandered off. Then he came back and said I found one I like, even though it's pink. It's really cute and my heart melted a little that he actually was getting into shopping for a little girl.

Plus it has reds and other colors, and if we skip some of the unnecessary accessories it won't be beat you over the head with pink.
I like the Pooh set. Totally not over the top. You could also do a gender neutral pooh room. My friends did that and it turned out great.
You don't need a rug at all, definitely not if you have carpet.
