Irish your MIL sounds like an awful person. I can't tell if you're minimizing the effect her behavior has on you, or if you really just brush it off. In any event, I really hope she keeps her remarks to herself.
She used to really get to me but the turning point was when she jumped to the conclusion the day before my wedding that I must've hooked up with my bff at some point since she's lesbian. That's when I realized she's just nuts and started being able to laugh a lot of it off. I did get upset the other night because she had to make this about her and can't just let a happy occasion be happy. But it's easier to brush it off when her own son when asked how the conversation went replied "Biitches be crazy."

I'm pretty sure it's pronounced your mom's a moron and if you didn't have your name legally changed by the age of 22, so are you. Unless you're from another continent. -Groomz
