Poll: What one store do you wish your area had?

Re: Poll: What one store do you wish your area had?

  • Em, the new Target off Reagan has food.  It's not quite a full super target, but it's nice that I can pick up a few things and still do regular target shopping.

Yeah, Cincy has everything.  I'm 5 minutes from Kenwood (that mall has everything, but it's pricey.   http://www.kenwoodtownecentre.com/directory)  TJs is across the street.  Whole Foods is 10 minutes/15 with traffic.  Ikea takes about 20 minutes on a good day.  I love being close to everything.

    I guess I'd like a Sonic closer.

  • I honestly can't think of anything. The Mall of America and Ikea are like 12 miles from my house and there are 4 other malls within a 15 minute drive. There are 2 Trader Joe's and a Container Store also within 15 minutes.

The shopping in the Twin Cities is pretty good. :)

Also, Loehmann's... I don't even know what one is but I hear they are great.

Come visit me.  I work a block away from their flagship NYC store :)   I didn't /don't even know if Loehmann's exists outside NY, do they?  It makes me think of my Grandma and my Aunts who were always totally stylin, but never paid full price :)

I just wish my town had any big store sometimes.  Most of the time I like living in a quaint town without big busy routes/streets with big stores.  But, when I kind of just want to run out to Target, I don't love having to drive 20 mins, park in the mall, blah blah.

We have Loehmann's in the DC Metro area..love!

I guess I am pretty lucky, we pretty much have everything fairly close by.

  • Trader Joe's and super target.  The closest TJs is 2+ hours away.  The closest super target is about 90 minutes away.  We have a Target in our town, but it's across town and it's connected to the mall which is a HUGE PITA to go to.
  • Trader Joes! They are needed in SoFla
