I know I've seen them at the Newark Salvation Army ... they're displayed in plastic bags, so IDK if they're cleaned prior to the bagging or not.
You could try calling your local police station or DYFS or something. Some of them keep stuffed animals on hand to give to children who are removed from their homes, to help calm them down.
If they're very small and don't present a choking hazard or anything, I wonder if an animal shelter would take them?
I heard the Lupus foundation will do a pickup. Someone told me they left 6 bags for them. I felt horrible since I threw a bunch out in the trash the other week but I couldn't stand the amount we had in the house anymore and I was home alone so I figured I'd take the opportunity to get rid of them
