Tuesday!

Re: Tuesday!

  •  Grrr. I came out to my car in the parking lot of the library and found a big dent and scrape on it. So freaking mad. I have no idea how it happened, when it happened. The damage wasn't there on Sunday. The same car that was parked in the spot next to us when we pulled in was still there.

Thankfully, the family business is an auto body repair shop. My dad was making house calls today! He helped my great aunt in the area with a key problem in her new car, then he stopped at our place over lunch to check it out.

I know it isn't a big deal and many worse things could happen, but I am so annoyed.

And one of the chobani in my multi pack from Costco was open. Annoying.

And the cloth panel on my maternity jeans ripped when I was adjusting it at story time. Annoying.

I hope everyone else is having a better, less annoying day than I am.

  • Hoek - What a frustrating day. :-(  Hoping your luck turns for the better.

Deeder - Considering the circumstance, I guess only failing 3 is a small victory. :-)

  • Deeder, is the improvement because of specific effort? Awesome =)

Hoek, sorry about your crappy day.  =(

  • Juli: It is a small victory. We've been watching a lot more closely to what is going on in class which also us to be on top of SS as to what he is suppose to be doing. Most parents want their kid to go to college we just want him to finish HS. SS has also spoken to the school Psych and the special ed advisor and they will be looking at some other ways to help him.

    Hoek: Bummer of a day.

Did I ever mention that some days my Hubby is a wonder kin of sorts. He made a bad logic board good again. Yeah for chemical baths?!!

Wait, what?  Maternity jeans?  Congrats to you!  EDD?

I am so out of the loop.  You ladies need to fill me in on the happenings around here.

  • Hoek, what a frustrating day!  I hope it gets better from here on out.  Very cool that your dad was able to help you out with your car.

Deeder, glad to hear that you're seeing some improvement in SS' grades!

I don't know what any of this means, but yay!

That is all really annoying :(

Speaking of maternity jeans, is it bad that I am ready to bust some out?  I'll be 10 weeks on Saturday, but I was looking my bump pics from T, and I look about 22 weeks (or bigger).  Haha.

Thank you! Baby #2 is due July 26th. Crazy that I am already at 19 weeks! The anatomy scan/ultrasound is coming up next week.

Already, yay!  Are you finding out what you're having?  Did you the first time around?

Bust them out!! I was wearing maternity jeans by 9 or 10 weeks this time around. I, too, look much further along than I am. And a large baby bump does not look cute on my 5'3" pear shaped body. Not a good look for me at all. Totally worth it, though.

We didn't find out the first time, and most likely won't find out this time, either. In hindsight, the tech let it slip last time at a 41 week 4 day ultrasound we had. She kept referring to Henry as a little stud. I just thought she meant that the baby was really active, but Mike later told me he knew it meant we were having a boy. Funny.

How about you? Will you find out in advance?

Oh, funny!  And wow, 41w4d appt!  Yikes!!!

We found out last time and can't wait to find out this time.  :)  I really want a boy, but my intuition is telling me girl.  My intuition told me boy last time.  Hopefully I am wrong this time around.  Haha, jk.  I'd be thrilled with a girl, and H really really wants a girl.

How incredibly exciting!  I hope the pregnancy has been going well for you!

And Des&Mol - congrats to you too!!!!  I hope things have been going well!

Wow, I feel terrible that I've missed these big announcements.  But it sounds like happy times around here.  Yay!!!

  • Finally...got the keys to the new house.

Have I mentioned that I love my realtor?  Because I do.  He made a special trip to my place of employment to drop off copies of the closing docs and the keys.  :)

  • Yay for keys!

It must be a relief to have the buying process over.

Huge.  The process seems to get more and more stressful each time.

  • Hello all.  I was out of town for work today.  I never thought my job would become so involved where I would have to travel out of state (on a private jet!).  I will be out of town next Tuesday, and the week after that I'll be out of town over night.  I'm kind of sad that I'll be away from Nick and Renee.  I'm very thankful to have such a good job though, so I can't complain too much.  I hope everyone had a good day!  Be safe on the roads tomorrow.
