Re: NPCER - Game of Thrones
So, for someone who has read some of the books (I'm starting book 4 soon), doesn't have HBO and only has Netflix streaming, is the series worth it? And, if so, how does one go about procuring it? i.e. is it available via online rental somewhere?

I don't mind most of the changes - the book would be impossible to film - too many characters and the plots are too convoluted, fine for a book, terrible for a TV series. So it makes sense to me to loose certain people, give jobs to others etc etc.
The only thing I didnt like so far, or that I thought was wrong, was Mellisandre shagging Stannis. Stannis wouldn't have done that - its wrong for his character. There are other things I dont like, but I understand the change. the Stannis bit, not so much.
