Now I am asking for some understanding. I am a passionate person. As such, I also tend to be emotional. I know we are here to try to help each other. I truly appreciate that. It's sarcasm, snide comments, and insensitive jabs that really hurt. I react.

I know some of us (myself included) said that it was gross for your FIL to put you in that position, but you don't go tell your wife that right after she finds out her dad's dying.
Do you really not see why that's not a great idea? Really?
