Re: Question about today
The world is overflowing with BS and if you're naive enough to listen to it then you do deserve to fail. If you give up so easily, did you really want it that bad in the first place?
this is a crazy heated topic, but i will just add my two cents.
i do think it is crazy the way this inauguration has been broadcasted, but i do think it is neccessary. they estimated that on the mall alone there were 1.5 million people, the most ever in history right behind lyndon johnson at 1.2 million. and those people are not there because he is black, they are there because he is our new president, one that we can all put our faith in as doing great things for our downtrodden nation.
he has a ridiculous amount of pressure on his shoulders, but he is strong and his character will persevere through the tasks at hand. it truly is an unbelievable event in our history and i am just so happy to have witnessed it all.
Where did I say things were "handed to you"? I said opportunities, opportunities and a free ride are not the same thing.
Most American presidents attended and Ivy league university.
A scholarship is an oppertunity.
