I am so annoyed right now... still.
Re: SA Wednesday
I am gonna be the odd man out here, but I am really struggling to get through our book club book this month. It is just so depressing to me and I almost dread reading it.
I thought this one was supposed to be "fluff."
Brianna, if its about what I think it is then it all seems odd to me and I would be annoyed too.
Sara, just keep reading, I am not going to say its all perfect but it all comes together.
I really cant decide if I am okay with going to visit the ILs for the weekend.
It was really hard not to go to bed last night at 8 again.
I was married to Jim Halpert in last night's dream.
I don't know how I am going to make it 3 more weeks until my hair cut.
Tonight I will be attending a career transition meeting that was recommended to me by someone.
Bobbileigh - It probably is. I'm about over it all.

I hate not knowing about stuff like this. I've been wracking my brain since you mentioned it yesterday!!!
BL -- has the in-law situation gotten better since the wedding? Dinner might not be so bad!
Have you thought about passing the baton?
I am not reading this month's book because I was afraid it would be too sad.
The scale went down again this morning - I've lost 9 pounds now!
We had a window salesman come over last night to give us a bid on new windows, because we're currently air-conditioning the entire world (and paying for it). 1, This guy was nice, but holy moly was he talkative. He was there from 7-9, and could have done the window-related talking in about half an hour. 2, Geez, new windows are expensive. We knew this was just to get a price for later, when DH goes back to work, but WOW they're expensive! Anybody have an recommendations for other people to call?
I love life right now but I could sure use some sleep.
Brianna,
I would be sick of it too. However.....well, you know.
Hi ladies! I have been lurking lately.
I started reading a book called 90 Minutes in Heaven. It's the first book I've read in years probably and it's all bc of y'all. I know I'm not participating in the book club, but I was still inspired. :~)
Congrats Angie, you're making great progress!
A-HA! Got it!
I'm messaging you on FB, because, well... you know.
Brianna - I would be way annoyed as well. You know my feelings on that issue.
Amanda - Yay to reading!
Haha, thanks Chelsea!
Bobbileigh - Yes, I have thought about it. I'm still trying to decide.
Serlace
- Ugh. That's all.

Don't worry, I've been around all week and am a little confused.
Angie - I had the windows replaced at my house a few years ago. After several quotes we went with Park Place windows. They had the best price, the windows were made in Texas so it is supporting our economy, very friendly family owned business. I even had problems with one of them not locking right. A year later they came out and completely reset the window and said it was warranty work. I really like them. and Yes, it is EXPENSIVE. But I had the old metal crank-out windows from the 50's. I was heating and cooling the entire neighborhood too. It made a HUGE difference in the house.

There are way to many cryptic messages this morning and I am a nosy, nosy person and you all are driving me crazy. So, I'm going to change the subject. What's everyone doing for this glorious 3 day weekend?
DH and I are going to a wedding on Saturday where two of his co-workers are getting married so lots of work people. It will be interesting as DH has turned in his two week notice, but the company has asked that he not tell anyone until they figure out a game plan for how to replace him. So we are going to be at this wedding with lots of his co-workers, drinking, and other friends who are not co-workers that he has told he is leaving. Should be interesting!
Then we are going to College Station on Sunday for some Aggie Football. BTHO SMU! WHOOP!

Hi Everyone! *waves* I'm sifting through a tall mountain of emails and fires this morning... post-vaca punishment I suppose.
I sense that I've missed something, but perhaps it's for the better?
I read "Unbroken" on the plane and holy cow...I'm 40% done and I can't WAIT to read more.
Our department did layoffs today. I'm safe but they let my boss go. It sucks. She was the only one that knew I was pregnant besides a few that guessed. She has been great working with me on appointments and letting me work through lunch instead of take PTO. The boss that is left and will now be in charge of the whole department doesn't allow you to work like that. Plus I have to go tell her I'm pregnant and she is a gossip queen so everyone will know soon. I don't have a problem with people knowing but I'm not really close to anyone I work with so I wasn't really ready to tell anyone yet. Is it the weekend yet?
See you ladies in a couple of hours for some proper Nesting.
