We are heading to San Antonio! Well we won't know for sure until today if DH is working Sunday and Monday, but if he's not then Saturday after work we are heading out.

Sounds like this board could benefit from a day dedicated to the airing of grievances!
Sara--I had to put the book down for a couple of days when I got to a certain part. I picked it back up and then pretty much finished it in one sitting--I couldn't read fast enough. It will be OK I promise!
Tiffany--I started Unbroken 2 nights ago and cannot put it down.
Angie--I would LOVE new windows but we don't want to invest in them in case we move. They are crazy expensive.
I am completely meh, who cares about the other stuff. It's not like it changes my life or anything.

Maybe I am a Debbie Downer, but does anyone think it is a good idea to have "spirit days" at work? I just got an email for College Jersey Friday. (Eye roll.)
I understand not wanting to have weekly flames or whatever. As a relative newb still, I can say I started participating because this board tends to be so upbeat and encouraging.
But that doesn't mean that every once in a while the air shouldn't be cleared. There's a whole lotta estrogen up in here, after all.

I would LOVE to have Spirit Day!! I'm so excited for college football starting this weekend!!!!
Vegas was fantastic! We had a great time... stayed mostly "up" on gambling the whole weekend until the last night ... and ended up breaking relatively even.
Had the best meal I've ever had in my entire life at StripSteak (Mandalay Bay), and enjoyed several others as well.
...and the Lion King was fantastic! Sitting in the first row was awesome... to see their faces up close and their passion was just incredible.
It doesn't need to be Flames...but Confessions or Vent or something would be nice. I like the positive atmosphere too...but since we did away with FFF it seems like every day has been infested with negativity and I really don't visit as often as I did before as a result. (Might be a good thing...haha)
There's an AYG (air your greivances) on Snarky Brides every week. It's where you can flame other posters (which is what generally happens, and typically it's posters from other boards), or you can air out other issues.

I want to ENJOY it, don't know what that equates to just yet. We have to mow our front yard because it's pretty bad at the 2 corners of our driveway and I've just been waiting to get something from the city in the mail but it's not bad enough/cool enough that I want to do this task myself. I also need to get caught up on Rescue Me before I get even more behind.
Yeah these cryptic SA's are driving me crazy.
I swear if it wasn't for me, my husband would sleep through class. I've woken him up for the past 2 weeks for class. It kinda irks me because I feel like his mom getting him up for school. He's an adult and should be able to get up on his own.

Even though we are supposed to wear the HS spirit wear on Fridays, I will wear my Aggie shirts every other week or one from vacation. I'm going Aggie this Friday though.
After Bill and I sat 5th row in NYC a couple of times, he swore would never sit upstairs again.

Oh oh!! I forgot about my question for you ladies.
So, in Vegas (and everywhere I'm sure).... I saw MANY women wearing very tight SUPER short dresses. Most of which looked fantastic... don't get me wrong. I could certainly never pull that off.
I found myself wondering though... how the heck to these girls sit down? I'm guessing they just don't? I can't think of a single appropriate way to sit down wearing something like that.
I read about this on Trip Advisor. I want a new dress to wear to Zumanity. I think my super short and tight dress days are over though. Not that I ever had them.
