I just made a cut & color appointment for next week. I'd love to have been able to get my hair done the day OF our family pictures (the 16th), but since we're driving over 5 hours to have them done, I just can't work it into the schedule. I'm hoping I'll be able to fix it myself and feel purty despite the long drive!
Now... I just need to find "dark color, long layers" inspiration pics to take with me!
I know...this is why I never read it until it was picked for book club even though I owned it. But it's worth it, I promise!

I'm leaving right now for cut and color. My gray is starting to show again!!!! Later....
My longest layer right now is bra-strap-length in the back, and I'm thinking a really rich dark brown... something dark and warm for the fall!
This is what I have right now... my natural dark dark color with a shade a smidge lighter highlights. Long layers too. I don't think I have any close up FB pics... I will try to post Vegas pics tonight... maybe one of them is good.

My issue is that since I had Dorothy, my hair thinned... a lot. My ponytail used to be Monster-can thick, and now it's pretty pathetic. I want lots more layers to try and make it look thicker until my body realizes I'm no longer nourishing another human and stops stealing vitamins from my hair.
LOL... wellllll don't get too excited. I don't think there are more than a handful. Most involving food, ha.
