DD refuses to realize she can toot silently. If a horrible smell comes from her she totally doesn't believe she could have made it. She'll laugh like we're messing with her when we ask if she did that. I don't know how to make her understand "silent but deadly."

Subject her to your SBDs?
I don't think she'd believe it! and this pregnancy has been all about burping, with her my gas was so bad I found it amusing.
My Dad is crazy. His latest FB status says something to the effect of just finishing a 16-hour work day and he wishes he had been born rich instead of so damned good looking.
We had a party Saturday night, and I was working Saturday morning so DH was cleaning up. I am horrible about leaving my shoes in the living room, so there were probably like 12 pair of shoes throughout the house.
He picked them up, carried them to our room, and put them in a giant pile in the corner of the bedroom.
The closet, where shoes go, is nine steps away. I counted.
I'm pretty sure men are incapable of putting things back where they belong.
DH will do this ALL the time with dishes, even if the dishwasher is full of dirty (read: DOESN'T NEED TO BE UNLOADED) dishes. He'll put HIS dirty dishes in the sink. Right next to the dishwasher. Really?

It takes all of 2 seconds (literally) to put the shaving cream and razor back in the medicine cabinet where you got them from. Yet somehow he must be too exhausted from the actual act of shaving to manage to put them up.

The funny thing is, my DH is the clean one. Not me. He will steal my glass and put it in the dishwasher before I'm done.
I am the bad dishwasher person, although honestly, I effing hate the dishwasher because it is uncomfortable to bend way over and put something in it.

I can totally relate to this. My favorite is our closet, which has a built-in laundry hamper. I always find DH's clothes on the closet floor, directly in front of it. He walks across the closet to deposit his clothes on the ground in front of the hamper. Really??

ooh. yeah, you would kill me in my sleep. i'm pretty sure the following items are on my vanity right now:
saline, contacts case, 3 kinds of face wash, face lotion, hair spray, two kinds of mousse, baby powder, face-washing-headband, some necklaces i wore 4 months ago... yeah.

Oh yes. And the shoes on the floor directly outside the closet door. Opening the door was a bit much trouble?
But, I say most of this in jest since I'm guilty of my fair share of messiness or just plain too lazy to put it away where it goes.

Mine often leaves his on the floor on his side of the bed. If it's not in the hamper I don't wash it.

Mine too. Drives.me.insane. When I start get frustrated and asking if he is done with it, he makes up an excuse like oh, I only wore that shirt for an hour, so I am going to put it up. Ok, fine, but up isn't on the floor beside your bed.
You girls all sound like you are talking about me... not your husbands.
Ha, I drive DH crazy but that's just the way it is. He gets a nice, homecooked meal every day, I help him pack his lunch, I change a whole hell of a lot more diapers, etc, etc, etc. He can deal with my mess.
When I do laundry I will fold and put away, hang up, etc all of mine and his clothes.
When he does laundry he will fold it all and then only put away his.
He claims he doesn't know where any of my stuff goes.
You're better than me. I'm with your DH. For me it's more about me wanting things in a particular way. I know DH is the same so instead of me putting his things away how I would want it I just let him do it and he leaves my things for me to put away.

Ditto. Minus the packing lunch & the diapers thing. I also don't give BJs & barely put out lately unless ovulating.
DH is clearly getting the short end of the stick in this relationship.
I'm normally a very non-confrontational person. I get nervous easy and have a tendency to cry as my first reaction to any emotion (anger, fear, happiness, you name it).
We have been having an issue with our HOA and I said I'd call about it because DH would be TOOO mean. I am very proud of myself with how assertive and grown up I was without being too much of a beeeotch. I didn't cry and though I'm sure I'm still going to have to pay the money I don't think I should have to pay because HOA's have all the power, I feel like someone actually listened to me and that my concerns were heard.

I do all the laundry and I put away my things and the boys stuff. I pile all of DH's stuff on his side of the bed. And then he usually puts it in an empty laundry basket until that gets full. It drives me insane, but I'm not putting his stuff away. I do all of the cooking, 99% of the cleaning, I take care of the boys and most of the time I'm the one that walks the dogs because he's at work. So he can put (or not put) his own clothes away.
Mine often leaves his on the floor on his side of the bed. If it's not in the hamper I don't wash it.
It took me YEARS to break this habit. YEARS. He can toss his clothes into his closet from the bed. Now, they just get left on the floor in the bathroom. And that drives me bonkers.

His side of the bed is near a wall and I don't have to go over there. : )
I don't put away his clothes either beacuse he doesn't have a system to his drawers and it drives me bananas. On the flip side he won't hang up by clothes because I do have a system and he doesn't want to mess it up.
I should be packing. I leave for Hartford tomorrow morning. But people telling me that it will be pleasant 39 degree highs has not inspired me. I'm not even sure what shoes to pack.
We have planned happy hours each night (not fun in my eyes at all) besides that how do you look cute when it's 20something outside?

Before I met DH, I slept on one side of my queen bed. The other side was reserved for clothing that was not dirty enough to go in the laundry room, so possibly ok to wear again.
Anything that had made it to the washer/dryer (dryer is stretchign it. i would always forget i had washed clothes) lived on the closet floor until i needed to wear it.
Also, I had a good week's worth of clothing in my car at any given time.
I would often go to marshall's and buy somethign new rather than take something to the dry cleaners (which i had also never done pre-DH. sometimes my mom would just let me throw my drycleaning in with hers).
Honestly, I could be one of those people who lives in a ratty old loft with no electricity and never bathes. Just me and a bunch of big old canvases and some paint. I'd sleep on a good comfy couch. I'm not a huge "OMG I MUST TAKE A SHOWER! person. I shower when I need to shower because people will see me all dirty if I don't shower.
Uverse isn't available at our new house, which is a mile away from our current house, which uverse is available at. And my brother lives in the same neighborhood we're moving to (but a different block) and they do have uverse. After having it for years, I'm a little sad. Although we will probably save money, so I guess that's a bonus.
Reef's customer service for online purchases bites.
DH bought me a pair of house shoes for Christmas. I wear a 9 1/2. The sizing options were 6, 8, 10. He chose a 10. Well you have to do a little research on their site to see that an 8 is actually an 8-9 and a 10 is a 10-11. They were too big.
No big deal. I fill out the online exchange form per their online refund/exchange policy. I pay $11 to have them shipped back.
Our credit card now shows a refund of the original purchase price minus the cost of shipping. I call to ask about the exchange. They don't do exchanges. Even though the website says they do. But I'm more than welcome to purchase the shoes again in the correct size. He can even help me with that over the phone.
So, I paid almost $20 to try on a pair of Reef slippers. At least they were comfy for the 30 seconds I got to wear them.

good for you. I cry with stress. If I'm really upset and can't punch someone I cry. If DH and I start arguing I can't help but cry, which makes you look out of control right away. I dread calling places for the same reason. I really need to call t mobile, my phone is still acting up but I dread dealing with them again so I haven't.
