aw man. Now that's going to be stuck in my head. :P
Damn, I'm lame. I have nothing funny to add.
However, I am kind of freaking out. Earlier in the year I told my sister I would do the warrior dash with her next time. Well she registered for it yesterday and is waiting for me to do the same. I am SO out of shape. I can't even begin to tell you how unathletic I am. I can't run. I can't go over obstacle courses.
It sounded like such a good plan at the time.
Every time I see SA, I think of a man at the doctor's office with a magazine and a cup.
Sorry Darva! lol.
Ok a real SA question:
I have pimped a lot of nesties' businesses on our site over the years. Some I have personally used and some, like CalmeKel, I would go back and use if I could change things.
My mom is opening her own business in January. It will be an online fabric store and she will specialize in particular fabrics, mainly for quilters. When it is up and running, do you think I could pimp its grand opening for those of us who do sew without being totally offensive? Just one post. And if I actually buy from her I might say who I bought the fabric from but I would do that anyway if someone asked with no affiliation with those businesses.

hehehe...this made me giggle.
The good - We are putting our deposit down for Disney in March today!
The bad - I feel like crap. My voice is finally starting to come back (been gone since Sunday) but the ability to breath through my nose would be nice again.
Crazy Christmas Kids!
I totally want her info... if we have another kiddo I want a quilt for him/her!
I did it last year and was horribly out of shape. :P
You still have plenty of time to train for it, regardless!
I'm thinking about doing it.
Crazy Christmas Kids!
Uh oh. Everything ok?
I worry that CPS will be waiting for me when I get to daycare today. Avery scratched and punched J last night and got in BIG trouble. Well, daycare noticed scratches on his face/neck today and called both of them in - granted, that is not where she scratched him, but he said it was her. She admitted it and said she got in big trouble. She also told her teacher (yesterday), that I go to Target and she stays home with Joseph to protect him. Um, no, I barely even go to the curb without them. So...daycare called...effing awesome. I am about to just lose it right now.
You should! We should sign up for the same wave. I will be in better shape for it this next year, than I was last year. lol
yikes
So I went out on a date last night, and I can finally say that I had a good date! I'm trying not to have any expectations of what will come from this date, I'm just happy to finally say that I had a good date! He was attractive, very nice, mannerly, wasn't expecting anything! Nothing like the list of losers below.
I've had a guy ask what kind of underwear I wore, slipped his hand up my skirt (yes this has happened), lied about not having a child when they had a child on the way, to touchy feely guy, or sexual innuendo guy, etc.
The daycare DS goes to is considered a school (they have pre-K and Kindergarten) and have teacher in service days, open houses, and parent teacher conferences... for the 18-month to 2-year old class and up.
Um, hello, I work. I am all about being involved, but I don't have time to attend the open house at 6:30 when I pick him up at 6:00 and need to get home (20 minutes away), cook dinner, spend time with DS, and get him to bed by 8:30.
Consider me a slacker parent if you must.
Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase
18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!

I could punch DH in the face. He's arguing with me about an Outback coupon and refuses to believe that I'm right... because he read something on FB.
ETA: I just found the email proving me right. BOOYA!
:-(
You have PLENTY of time to get ready! It's not until March.
The running is pretty broken up by the obstacles, so endurance isn't really a problem. And the obstacles aren't that physically challenging. More mentally challenging than anything (heights, cramped dark places, murky water)..
:-( indeed! Wanna stow away in my room?
Crazy Christmas Kids!
So does DD's school. I love that parent teacher conferences are scheduled from 10 - 3 next week. Um, there's a reason she goes to your school, people! I work those hours!
We're the same open house slackers. Never been and likely won't until her bed time moves.
Yes!
I'm so excited about what I'm working on right now. It's not even remotely related to my job description, it would actually fall under my old job title of Auditor. I am giddy working on this. I really miss auditing.
Since the other post is locked, I will post here...
Has anyone here ever sued after a motor vehicle accident? I just want to make sure my medical bills, rental car (ins only covers 80%), & getting into a new car is taken care of.
I'm so lost as what to do. I would like to not contact a personal injury lawyer, unless we absolutely need to sue for damages. Any advice?
As a former auditor myself....this seems crazy to me! I am so glad I got out of it, the hours and travel were killing me. However, I was an IT auditor so I traveled more than the financial auditors I knew.
DH passed up two positions in MI because they were 50/50 tax and audit positions. He loves auditing too. Weirdos
I had a sweet industry gig where I didn't have to travel any. I'm still at the same company and my hours in my current position are worse than my audit hours were. But auditing is so fun, it's like putting together a puzzle. I don't get to do puzzles as a business analyst.
And I definitely don't get to bust anyone for fraud doing business analyst work. Sending assholes to jail is awesome.
