Say It Again...Say Anything.
Re: Say It Again...Say Anything.
Love telling people that I don't in fact want to buy their copy of a really famous nineteenth century portrait. A) I'm not an antiques dealer that image hangs in the National Portrait Gallery C) it's called ebay have at it.
i still have my grodes. mud wrestling is fun.....mud running on the other hand doesn't sound enjoyable. i think it's just the "run" part. i'm with kjr - running is like torture
vista is the greatest stroller ever. We have the g light for Addie and I love it. my only question (which I bought it anyway but emailed them to ask) is what year it is. I don't think they'd sell one as old as the 2009 but the 2010 is where big changes came in (it sits completely upright in one position instead of slightly reclined all the time). I had a discussion with an uppababy rep the other day about the 2012 model, not many changes. Go for it!!! they need to come out with a double but don't plan to for a couple years.
DH and I frequently comment on what we think C would say if he had a better vocabulary. We have to do this away from him, because it usually includes words that I don't want him to say at school.
This is us too. Evan has known forever that he isn't allowed to touch DH's fancy all-in-one tv remote. Now he goes to touch it with one finger while looking at us. He keeps throwing the fan remote and I swear it won't work by the end of the year.
Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase
18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!

Yep, DH thought he was playing it safe last night and said that he was POed at someone at work. Evan immediately said "P. O., P. O., P. O.!" Nice.

So, I have this creepy neighbor. I don't even know where to start with the whole situation.
She is really racist and just ignorant. She is constantly talking about keeping our neighborhood as "white as we can" and stuff like that. I try to avoid her because it is just too much and too offensive.
When she does talk to me it is always way way way TMI. A few weeks ago I got a whole 20 minute update on an oozing wound on her butt that may or may not have been caused by an ant bite.
Over the weekend she stopped me outside to tell me she had been battling diarrhea. She went into to painfully disgusting detail about it. And even told me that it was so bad that she just slept in an adult diaper the night before.
I am feeling a little traumatized by the whole thing.
Oh, and, yes, Ering is a crazy neighbor of mine, but she is not the crazy diarrhea neighbor.
So I know we've already made the same plans that we've had for the last few years to ToT on Monday, but....
Ditto Harmony... I need to wash my hair that day. Or something...
I'm not trying to be insensitive.. but this made me think of Harmony's mom... and wonder how she's doing with the spider bite and infection and such... Update?
Don't worry. She turns off her lights on Halloween. She doesn't like people coming to her house. And even if she did Erin and I would suggest skipping over her house for sure!!!
Tori made her teacher cry yesterday.
They have the option of bringing a dollar and buying breakfast so we usually keep a couple of dollar bills laying on the bar. Yesterday she said that her teacher's door was broken on her car and she wanted to give her the $2 to get it fixed. She would not be dissuaded so we let her take the money to school for Ms. Karla.
When DH picked Tori up Ms. Karla said she needed to speak with him. She told him that on the way to work that morning she realized she had left her purse at home. Then her low fuel light came on and she had no idea how she was going to make it home after work. She lives in South Houston and works in Baytown. She said that she thought that if she only had a couple of bucks she could get enough gas to get her little car back home.
So when Tori went to give her the two dollar bills from that morning all she could do was cry. Which of course kind of scared Tori, but Ms. Karla got her to understand that she wasn't upset.
It's times like these that make you forget all the frustrating moments when you want to pull your hair out.
How sweet is that?
You've obviously done a fabulous job raising three beautiful, caring girls!
That is so sweet!

yes! how sweet! Ms Karla is going to remember Tori forever!
awwwwww, i bet that made you feel so good!
That is fantastic. What a sweet girlie you have.
I have to confess that I thought Spanx were only for special occasion wear. Like bridesmaid dresses. I was wrong.
This week I realized that some days I may like what I'm wear just a little bit more with Spanx tank top underneath. Things just aren't the same (two years) after having C.
what a sweet, sweet girl.
Aw Kristie! That's so sweet of her.
My chili won 2nd place in our chili cook-off at work. The only thing that gets me is that I lost to vegan chili. I think if you are only trying ONE of the chili's you shouldn't be allowed to cast a vote. The taste of the vegan chili was pretty good, but the texture was just way way weird for me. lol
"Well, these thighs haven't gone out of the house without lycra on them sice I was 14. "
"You were brought up right."
Ditto!
How bizarre. But congrats on the 2nd place finish!
She's ok. She had the surgery and has had home health care daily since she got home. She was in the hospital for 6 days! As of now, she is looking at 2 more weeks of home health care.
She battles depression pretty hard and being at home/daily home health/recovering/not being able to do much is wearing her down. She is NOT pleasant when fighting (or rather succumbing to) depression. I am NOT looking forward to the holidays.
I've been thinking about it too. Especially since I was going to be getting my sister's P&Ts, but that's not going to happen since she got KU again.
It says it's a 2011 model, that has 4 recline positions. What color did you get?
So crazy that something as simple as a spider bite turned out like that. Glad she is ok. I can completely relate to her depression battle when stuck at home battling pain. I'll be praying for her.
