Too late - that's my title!
I just told her to let him play with it. He'd stop eventually.
this is my main reason for wearing them. I've weighed more in my life but didn't have thigh chafing problems until after I had a kid or got older. whatever caused it, it is so annoying.
Not really I guess. His brother came to our (church) wedding, his sister didn't. So I met his brother a couple days before, Addie was 4 months old and he pretty much ignored her then I guess. I didn't meet his sister till she was almost 2. I talked to her via email a lot before we met but she was never particularly interested in the family. It's pretty much me who tries to get them to communicate. I guess I should just give it up.
initially they don't chafe, but after a long day of wear, it's like... like if you pressed a grid against your thigh... tiny bumps of skin would poke through. that happens on both thighs, so the bumps rub against one another.
i don't know how to explain without a visual, and nobody needs to see that.

Agreed. I get a twitchy eye when I am really stressed and it drives me insane. Also, when I had the spider bite on my face near my eye, my eye spazzed all day. I hope yours goes away soon!
I'm sorry, that's the worst! I get that a lot when I'm overly tired.
I do not really feel like working today, actually I do, I just don't feel like working on the work I need to work on first. I'd rather do other things. But this book isn't going to index itself. Sigh.
lol! maybe we are?
Do you happen to work in Greenspoint?
This is one of those weeks where I just keep chanting "I love my children. I love my children."
Older DD's are grounded for probably the rest of Novemeber and it's only the 2nd.
Oh boy! That had to be baaaaaaad. I'm sorry you're having a rough day. I hope it gets better soon!
No, I work Downtown, but we have an office in Greenspoint. Any chance you work for a bank chain?
Nope! Guess it was just a coincidence. I miss pinterest though, my brain needs an occassional break from spreadsheets.
Me too. I really, really, really hate having to ground them from some really fun stuff that is going on this month. So far they are grounded for two weeks and then we will reevaluate the situation. They are usually great kids but they've been very irresponsible with their school work the past few weeks and flat out lied about having homework to their dad.
On a much better note, I was just told by my boss that I did an exceptional job on some testing we had to do last week and that one of the other executives tried to steal me for his department. But my boss and the owner told him absolutely not. It's good to know that I'm doing a great job!
I left L washing her hands this morning so I could do the 'laundry shuffle' with the hampers, washer, and dryer. I walked back into our bedroom and splat! Water everywhere. 4 minutes tops, $1000+ in damage to the floor and sink console. I'm completely sick.
omg, what did she do????
Oh no!!!!
I'm on a webinar/training and the way the trainer is saying "button" is driving me batty.
Button actually has T's in it.
How??
Um, I'm sick FOR you.
@S, what happened that caused that much damage??!!??
Is she/he from the NE (Philly/ Jersey) That drive me up the wall.
Ditto.
She opened the faucet full-blast and closed the drain. The floor is all warpy and wrinkly. I was on my hands and knees for an hour with the shopvac trying to suck water up from the cracks between floor planks
Oh noooo.
This "30 days of thankful" crap on facebook is driving me crazy. mainly because at least 9 out of 10 of the people doing it will be b!tching up and down (via facebook) about the very things they are being all showoff thankful for before the challenge is even over.
WHEW i'm glad i got that off my chest.
and just in case anyone here is doing it, no, i am not talking about you.
