Re: Three bored nesties
I agree. I would have to see it IRL to see the pattern on and how it fits.
I think if I had 5 kids and my hubby had to be gone for a week that I would just fly out there instead, set the prisoner/jail/whatever straight in 1 hour, and fly home.
That's the weekend Emily is due!!!!!
But yay!!!!! It's really happening! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
Maybe I need to have a chat with her to come a couple of days early...like the 8th or 9th!
HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND LADIES!
So, a little funny Monday am story...
Tales of Craigslist sales, volume 14
So I've had an armoire for sale on craiglist for a while now. I dropped the price down to $175 (from $225 then $200) then got an email from someone offering $140. I said that I wasn't prepared to drop that low yet. He emailed again 1 week later, saying that if I changed my mind to let him know. A week after that, I still didn't have any bites on it, so I texted him yesterday to see if he still wanted it. He did. So he and 2 friends came to pick it up, and the comedy of watching them was worth WELL more than the $35 "discount" I gave him. It was 3 skinny little asian dudes. One was taller than me. They were probably 19-21 ish. The armoire is over 7 feet tall, and they were trying to figure out how to get it out of my garage (tilt it this way, tilt it that way) then how to get it in the bed of a Tacoma. They wanted to stand it up. To drive from the Heights to League City. Yeah...that's not going to go well for the car behind them. So after about 20 minutes of trying to fit it in the truck, I convince them to lay it on it's side (best option for this truck). Then they "secure" this HEAVY hunk of wood with 1 bungee, 1 ratchet strap, and a prayer. They then realize the doors need to be secured. So the guy takes the lace out of his sneaker and ties them shut, while saying "Asian Macguyver in the house!"
It was awesome.
If you're old, I'm older, and I resent that!
Dr. update! Belly is still measuring "perfect", and Emily's heartbeat was 149--another "perfect"--with "lots of background movement. (She HAS been really active the past couple days). My bp was 120/86, which is high for me I think (usually 106-ish/80), but the dr didn't even comment on it. What I thought were braxton hicks contractions late last night was actually just really terrible muscle pains (period cramp-like on steriods) because I pulled something over the weekend. However, I may have to have a C-section because my pelvis is very small. We'll watch that, but it's something I'm totally fine with. (If that's the case, I will try and schedule it for the 8th or 9th just for you, SO)
We go back on Friday for a measurement U/S so hopefully I'll have more pics of little miss.
Oh, my anemia is actually getting worse so I have to double my iron supplement dose, and this explains my exhaustion recently. Yesterday, after sleeping 9 hours, I was awake for 2 and then accidentally fell asleep for a 3 hour nap. I have been extremely tired.
Glad to hear our girl is growing and measuring on schedule! I can't wait to meet her!!! I'm sure you're ready to reclaim your body a little bit as well!
I'm planning for my last day to be may 1, so really anytime in those two weeks works for me. ;o)
We have our growth ultrasound on Friday. She is considered a "small statured baby" (you've met me, this should not be a surprise). As long as she's proportionate then she can be as little as she wants! I am nervous, but I can't put my finger on quite why. I have no problem having a petite baby. I was only 17 inches myself. I just want everything proportionate.
I'll see what I can do about the dates! HAHA!
I bought a (what I thought was cute) dress, and everyone hates it. Says it is horrible for my body type. & now I need to begin my search again.
Took me 2 weeks to find THAT dress. I hate dresses. Ugh.
Was it the one you linked on here? For what it's worth, I hate dress shopping so I feel your pain.
