I am thinking of doing the unthinkable; ordering Crave Cupcakes for Maren's birthday. With DH out of town all week, cleaning this house for family and setting up for a party, I just don't have time to do a proper cake or cupcakes for my baby girl. I'm ashamed.
Yup. I had so many people say to me "I can't wait to see what you do for Emily's cake"! Um, nothing. We did a 4" smash cake, but that was it. Bad cake baking mom here too!
Ever since we moved, I have been so unmotivated at baking. Do you ever get in a rut?
We're putting our house on the market next week. I'm freaking out. First, what if it sits on the market for months? Second, what if it sells in two weeks?
Either way - I'm freaking out...but ready for it to happen. Mostly so that I can rest - we spend every waking moment cleaning or working on the house! I'm tired.
Yup.. Doing the same thing next week. I know how you feel. Panic city over here trying to match nearly 7 yr old paint. Mom's coming to help me get ready for pictures.. which will result in me drinking copious amounts of wine.

I'm sure both your girls will remember this always and they'll be scared for life. Or you can just tell them that you get paid for your work and they couldn't afford you at the time-even with a family discount.
We are seriously low on groceries, but I'm going OOT this weekend so I refuse to shop. That means breakfast & lunch for the next 2 days will consist of Greek yogurt & cereal.

Good luck and just be prepared either way! Our neighbors put their house on the market and it sold 2 days later . They frantically had to expand their search options. IMO it made them settle on something they may not have originally, but hey whatever works for them. They closed yesterday and are moving today so within a month this all had to go down.
Hope you have a great realtor and remember there is always the option to lease back too.

I think so. They also use the Party Rock Anthem a whole lot, which makes G flip out and feels the need to "shuffle" every.single.time he hears it. It was cute at first, but by the 400th time each day it gets old.
