Actually, no the 3T check-in is not for grads. I felt okay posting beta updates, but once I got to a certain point I didn't feel okay updating there. That's what GPM is for. Others may have a different opinion, but that was my experience.

ETA: Also, I would not feel okay with a grads check-in, again if people want updates, they can check GPM.

I've never felt unwelcome here. I was only here a short time before I got my BFP, but I still participate and try to be an active/supporting member of this board. No, I can't relate to a lot of what many of you are going through, but that doesn't mean I can't empathize and offer support as best I can. I can also talk about all the NGPR things that come up. I can see how some might feel unwelcome/shunned, though. Maybe I'm lucky... or maybe I'm just not an asshole?

One of the reasons I stopped posting as much was because someone mentioned that they were upset seeing u/s pics and tickers in siggies.  I was here trying to support ladies struggling, but I felt like I wasn't getting any support for where I was in my journey - like it would be better if I just went away.  So, I did.

Everyone just post if you want to fucking post. If you don't, don't. The people on here I love the best are the people I know the best and who support me as I support them. Some of them are pregnant. Some are moms. Some are 3T. Some are TTC. Some are TTA. Some are unicorns.

I can only speak for myself, but I didn't abandon GP because I didn't care. If I didn't care I wouldn't lurk. I saw Aim's update in the 3T check in and have everything crossed for her. I left because I didn't want to be a part of all the bitchiness and I knew nothing would come of me calling anyone out. I know seahorse and her bandwagon won't change. I'd just rather be a part of something more positive.

You are correct. I think it used to include grads. But probably stopped bc people stopped posting.

Personally, for me, I had taken a break from the board due to all the meanness and drama.  By the time I was ready to come back, I had gotten a BFP and didn't feel like it would be good to come back then.  I didn't want to look like a drive-by or like one of the people who's around, leaves, and would come back purely to announce a BFP. 

I think it's sad that Bruins (and maybe others) feel like she can't mention her baby on here.  It's one thing to post strictly about your baby or complain about pregnancy symptoms or whatever, but it's another thing to mention it as part of your life.  If these are your friends, you should be able to share what's going on in your life with them, regardless of what it is.

And that's exactly why I did it. People leave for any number of reasons and sometimes would like to come back but don't always know how to jump back in. Others leave for reasons that are yet unresolved (and probably never will be) and that's fine too.

Agreed. Some people are more private in general and don't want to share every little detail. If she decides she wants to post more things about him, she knows her friends - moms or not - will want to hear about it. Because she is our friend and she is supportive and she is part of the community.

IMO, you are generally an instigator when it comes to "bullying" or whatever.  Not always, but often.  Other people just jump right in after you.  Am I mistaken?

It's not sad. I don't need to talk about him here. In fact, most of the people who you are all claiming to be the mean bitchy women of the board have done nothing but support me, ask for updates and pictures. None of the topics on here relate to him so why should I bring him up? Maybe I have been able to keep the relationships I have made here because I respect my friends and value their feelings.

I think we're going in circles at this point. No one WANTS anyone to leave just because they're not TTC/struggling anymore. At the same time, there are going to be people who don't want to see some things. To each her own, but overall, just friggin' post if you want to post! I get some of my biggest laughs over here, and I know ladies who are interested in how I'm doing now go over to GPM to see those updates. I'm totally fine posting them over there and keeping as much pr stuff off here as possible, though sometimes it's just gonna leak in, because it's my life right now.

I never left after my BFP. I couldn't tear myself away from the struggles I was following, even on days things do get ugly. God damn you ladies, you got me all invested in your lives! WTH? 

So, yeah, I still post as much as I can. I don't participate in check-ins, but I offer my support and thoughts and keep my hope alive for each of you. 

Now be all puppies and rainbows and give me squishy hugs!!

Completely. Seahorse is one of the leeeeast bullying people ever. That's why so many people voted for her for mod of this board. She just doesn't hesitate to call people out, which I admire.

I believe you're both correct. If I'm remembering correctly, at one point we did have grads on there but then at another point, it was decided to remove the grad updates. I feel like the 3T check in has always welcomed grads to post, just not AWing about their children.

Also, in regards to PG/BR updates, why can't we just do it like we used it... post something on GPM and then if you feel like GP would want to know about it, come post "update on GPM" and inlcude the direct link to that post? Seemed to work well in the past.... but what do I know.
