Thank you.

Re: Lurkers?
I think it is hard to find a balance here because not everyone is in the same place, but if you are a grad who want grads to have more of a presence or if you want some more positivity then you should take it upon yourself to post more IMO.
To make you feel my love.

I don't teach, but I work in a middle school. Our testing is over thankfully. You are a brave lady for taking on all those teenage hormones.

I lurk from my phone now. I still can't log in from there (dude, @nestcayla, wtf?) and rarely use a computer at home.
But aside from that, I just don't really feel like I fit here anymore. I don't have the hope that so many get to have, and I truly only TTC a few times a year. It is just different.
I miss a lot of you. There are people here who I really, really like and wish we could be in touch more frequently (Bruins, Amanda, LL, I'm sure there are more). I want to continue to share my story with those who know it, and I want to follow yours. I just don't think this is really the place for me anymore.
And FWIW, I have no problem with grads posting. People have babies. I want my friends, IRL and here, to have that. Baby-related posts don't bother me.

Actually it's because my fiancé's initials are DC and after we're married mine would be AC. My fiancé likes the band AC/DC (although I'm pretty sure he likes electricity too because he's a nerd like that) but we both thought it was funny that together we'll be ACDC, so that's where it actually comes from. I do like the band AC/DC but I have other bands that I like more!

"You know you're in love when you don't want to fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams." - Dr. SeussBut also I am awkward and bad at friends, so I'm sure that has something to do with it for me as well.
This is me! Why couldn't this have happened on Tuesday when I had 0 clients! I was crazy busy yesterday and just now catching up. I love everyone one on here, but still sometimes feel like an outsider. That's probably just me though. I was called out last year, but it was something that should have happened. I made an ignorant statement that I really didn't mean. I do feel like I get support and have learned so much here. I like to hear grad stories and will lurk on gpm to check in! Just my two cents. I hope discussions and busier days like this continue!

My two cents: I've only been around since December-ish (although I lurked for a few months before making my official intro) so I can't comment on what the board was like prior to late last year.
Personally, I don't mind the baby tickers and pictures. I also wouldn't mind if grads wanted to mention their LO's in relevant conversation. It makes me happy to see people finally achieve their dreams of parenthood after I have been following their journey...be it naturally, medically-assisted, or through adoption. I think all should feel welcome. But I also feel though that posts strictly about pregnancy/babies like morning sickness, ultrasounds, baby showers, etc., should be posted in GPM out of respect for the women on this board.
That being said, I know I am still somewhat early in my journey and have not gone through what many women on this board have and because of that, I understand and respect others' needs for this to be a safe place where they are not bombared with pictures and posts of the very thing they want more than anything.
Currently on Metformin and Synthroid
