I'm firewife9278, and my husband and I are always striving to make sex a priority. 

We've been TTC for going on 2.5 years. It's rare that we are able to make sex a fun and relaxing time for ourselves; too often, it has to have a purpose and a specific time ... if sex is even in the mix.

We've had to become inventive by trying different areas of the house and have even resorted to going to a hotel for a night here and there. We once even dragged our futon mattress into the living room and "camped out" for an entire day in the middle of the week (gotta love sick days!). It was fun and lighthearted and free, while treatments are expensive, hotels are expensive and all of it is stressful.

I think the best thing for us is just remembering that we're in this together. The struggles have made our marriage stronger and brought us closer together, and honestly, sex with a purpose isn't all that bad. Winning a trip to paradise wouldn't be bad either of course! Maybe our miracle souvenir would even come our way

I surprise him with new lingerie, toys for the bedroom, or a romantic smelling candle, and he suggests trying a new position to get us in the mood. A new twist to an old routine always gets us revved up again!

I like to surprise him by wearing lingerie when he comes home from work.  Sometimes he'll walk in the door and I'll callhim upstairs by saying that I "need help with something" and when he gets upstairs, I'm waiting for him with my lingerie, candles, etc. Othertimes, I'll make and eat dinner in lingerie and make him wait for it :-)
