Say It Again...Say Anything.
Re: Say It Again...Say Anything.
AP - I'm not seeing what you should actually apologize for. I do think you could call and talk things over, but I don't know if you have to call to say you're sorry. Because I think she is the one who is in the wrong. If you don't make progress with the phone call, then I'd let it go.
On the other hand, based on everything else written odd are she will never change so maybe don't waste your breath.
Thank you ladies, it's nice to vent it all out there and I swear I'm done. although I'll take that back if she does something new and crazy.
on another note, are we not doing Secret Santa this year?
I'd completely forgotten about that. We usually start earlier, don't we? Who was in charge last year?
or we could pretend we did it and I got you a book and you got me marmalade. secretly.
and we were so serious about it I drove all the way to Mandeville for the exchange!
you'll do anything to avoid paying shipping.
What did you get?
ditto, you must share!
My mom orders stuff from them ALL.THE.TIME. lol The Zumba DVD's are from QVC and so are the pots and pans she gave me when I moved into my own house. lol I'm pretty sure most of her Christmas shopping is done sitting on her couch, late at night.
LOL I can see where it's crazy addicting. And really some of the stuff they have is a pretty good deal.
We got a Keurig and it came with like 64 K-cups and a refillable K-cup.
I was giddy when they cut down our palm eyesore. I still need to get someone to come out and remove our sick pine.
Kimmer - before you even said that I guessed what you bought. DHs coworker bought two as Christmas gifts.
I also thought about the Secret Santa thing. But I kept my mouth shut because I was afraid I'd end up in charge and I don't have time at all. But I'm kinda sad we're not doing it. I think last year was a success, right? No forgotten gifts?
On another note, I am pretty sure my drycleaners hates me. The guy is pretty unfriendly. But my sister reminded me that I dropped off a shirt once covered in baby crap so they probably have a good reason to not like me. I'm going to get them something for Christmas I think. Cookies and maybe a SB gift card or something.
I think SS went well last year without any major hiccups. Or at least I don't remember anything horrible.
That sounds like a great idea for the drycleaners. Perfect compensation for dealing with poop.
If we ever get the chance to take the two ginormous pine trees down at our old house, I'm having family pictures taken with the tree crew working in the background. And then having a gigantic canvas of it made to hang over the fireplace. I hate those trees more than anything else in the whole wide world.
I'm giddy. It's pretty much all I have been able to talk about for a week now. We're mostly taking out 9 sweet-gums's & I want to sing because I will not have spiny balls all over my yard anymore! DH is out of town & I'm being an evil person telling him that I'm not going to send him any pictures or anything. He'll have to wait & see when he gets home in 3 weeks. I'm trying to decide if I want to takea a lunch break & run home to see the progress or if I want to work through lunch & go home an hour early so I will still have daylight.
i've been burning some sweet gum wood in my fire pit - it makes a great smelling fire! you should keep some if you have a pit :-)
We already have a small stack of sweet-gum wood from 3 smaller trees DH was able to cut down himself. I just need there to not be burn ban while DH is in town.
i hope today is a better one
you can come hang out with me and we can be left out together! DO IT!
broken record vent:
it is really hard to have a sick mom, be a good mom, and run a business. especially during my very super busiest time of the year when i am slammed to the high heavens (with kid and business stuff). i want to ask my relatives if they will just please pick up the slack for me this one week so i can get my work stuff done, then i will sit with my mom and catch her barf and make her take medicine on schedule and listen to her rant about people who let children be near pitbulls, and fix her whatever little thing she might possibly be hungry for.
i don't want to leave anyone out or make anyone feel second rate or neglected. i can't not work. this is 12-14 hour day season for me.
whaaaaambulance ride:
i want my mom's cancer to go away so we can have a normal fun family like all the other people, and do normal things like shop and cook together.
my photography blog
DO IT! You shouldn't have to do it alone. I'm sure you have relatives that WANT to help but don't know how.
I want this for you, and many others, too. HUGS
I read a blog post of a family friend who has been battling Inflammatory Breast Cancer for almost 5 years that broke my heart yesterday. Cancer Sucks.
Awesome!
Yay you! All of your posts on Pinterest keep my motivation up too.
Repeat dana repeat. Great job Harmony!!!!
That is great!!!
I'm about this close, from adopting a puppy. Being a hormonal mess, is not helping me be rational. The last thing we need right now is a puppy, right?
