Say It Again...Say Anything.
Re: Say It Again...Say Anything.
My SIL had a baby today and I'm SO excited! He looks just like my niece and I can't wait to snuggle him.
On the other hand, I'm so jealous that I can't be there to snuggle him today. And I'm 10 levels of pissed that my brother's SIL posted pictures on FB before they had a chance to even text them to OOT family (like me and my mom). This is the same woman that used to pitch a fit about how many times my brother came to visit us vs. how many times they went to visit her. There's been some real knock down, drag outs because of her score keeping over the years and it chaps my @ss that I saw the baby on her FB page first.
Dude. Between HIMYM, the St Jude's commercial on every 11.7 seconds, and PMS... I'm kind of a mess.
And dark chocolate peanut m&ms are now officially an endangered species.
abbymae's husband caught a tuna a while back, i was able to reap some of the benefits! it was delicious : ) look up recipes for Ahi Poke... it's tasty.
i'm flying to dallas tomorrow to shoot engagement pics. outside. 30 degrees and windy. whose idea was this again?

Unacceptable!
I know!!! when the today show did a daily special on st judes I was a mess.
Because I'm a glutton for punishment I watched it twice & bawled my eyes out the whole time.
In related news, if I had gotten pregnant this cycle, the baby's due date would be my birthday.
I don't watch HIMYM, but I want to know what the crying was all about.
now. it depends on the type of pickle and cheese... ::: grins ::::
I'll send you a message over google chat so that I don't spoil anything for anyone.
Thanks for the warning. We haven't watched it yet. I think we are 2 episodes behind right now.
If this cycle runs the same as the last two, I will find out if we have a BFP or a BFN on my birthday. This will either be a great 35th birthday present or a really big bummer.
Good luck!
We've decided to take December off. I don't want to have to deal with it this month. AND I want to be able to drink it up on NYE
TMI warning...
This BC pill I am on makes me have my period for like 4-8 hours a month. It's just weird.
What are you on? I just started Loestrin, well the generic, a few weeks ago. I'm actually kind of looking forward to having a period. Weird I know. But I was on Lo loestrin for the past 4 months and no periods kind of freaks me out.
Yes, please tell us what you are on! BC usually make my periods a day LONGER than my already lengthy 5-6 days! very annoying.
"I cant find 3 of da vocab wordz can i do them in tutriolz"
This is a C&P from DD's 6th grade science class FB page. And the teacher just answers like nothing is wrong with the question at all. Makes me shake my head.
I would so say "Excuse me? I don't understand what you are asking."
lol
I am on Lo Loestrin. Yes, the no period would freak me out, too. I did have one month recently where I didn't have one at all, but the trend has been like a business day.
I just got the most awesome spam. It is supposedly from DH. It says it's from "Scott, i.e. your husband."
Ah yeah, apparently some people have a very very short period on lo loestrin. I never had one at all so I constantly worried I might be pregnant. Other than that I liked the pill, I only switched because there's no generic available for it and it was $50 a month. Loestrin comes in generic for $10.
So DH wants me to make these potatoes tonight... "Igloo potatoes" from a HLSR cookbook... The recipe calls for a 5lb bag of red potatoes. The directions say "Boil potatoes until almost soft (they will continue cooking in the covered container). Once done, drain water and dump potatoes into a small igloo cooler (or any other covered container). Add remaining ingredients and mix all together... so that the potatoes to continue to soften let sit for about 15 minutes."
*sigh* would you assume the potatoes need to be diced? lol I'm guessing it's a mashed potato recipe, but that's seriously all it says. lol Being red potatoes, I guess they don't have to be since they're smaller? LOL (I'm having a dumb day today, please forgive me)
no... if they are not giant potatoes, i think they'll be fine. what are the other ingredients? if they're soft enough they'll just fall apart if you roll the cooler around enough. when i do mashed potatoes, i just cook them and throw them in the standmixer. no dicing required since they get soft enough having been boiled.
however, are igloo coolers made of the kind of plastic that can get that hot holding uprotected food? this would concern me.
my baby business is freaking booming. i am totally loving all of the baby fixes i'm getting lately : )

butter, green onions, sour cream, shredded cheese. It makes sense to not dice them, just take longer to cook? I always cut in half or quarters but I usually use russet potatoes too, not red or smaller potatoes. lol
I would think an igloo would be okay. *shrug* I don't have one, I'll be using a humongous tupperware bowl w/ a lid. lol
I love seeing all the baby pictures on your facebook page; it cures my baby fever.
The $50/month & no generic thing is why I am about to switch. That is just crazy to me. And I haven't had a period on it either but I'm definitely not pregnant. Strange pill.
MIL just posted on my FB page that she wants a grandson for Christmas.
I am so freaking tired of every single IL telling DH and I to have another kid. WE HAVE THREE. I AM DONE.
I have even asked DH to tell them that I am sick and tired of hearing it.
I'm seriously having a hard time not posting an ugly response.
My OB gave me a card that I had to register on line but I get $10 off my out of pocket each month for 12 mos. She also started me off with 4 samples, so my per pack cost is still pretty reasonable right now. If I'm not trying to get pg by the time this Rx runs out, we'll be going for a permanent fix. We've got a year to decide if #3 is in the cards for us or not...
What was your response? Because I can't think of a nice one and it's not me, or my MIL, or my uterus. Why are people so rude and think it's ok to discuss your family planning, especially on FB?!?
I'm all enraged for you.
