some people... and to say a "brother" is ridiculous... because even if you did want another, you can guarantee that its a boy and all. this is the same women that doesnt acknowledge your older girls birthdays, right?
No. That's his stepmom. This is my MIL and honestly I LOVE her. But his entire family (MIL, FIL, SIL) just doesn't understand that we are done and I'm sick of hearing it.

KrisB - you could just start telling people that your OB suggested you not have any more. I know that sounds terrible, but making people feel bad sometimes is the only way to get them to shut up.

and FKB, i kind of like the lie. i mean, because obviously if you told an OB you didn't want anymore children, they would advise you not to have more. right? so then it isn't really lying ; )

I am such a baby fanatic. I just got all excited reading this and it's not like you announced a bfp or that you are even definitely trying to get pg with #3. I need help.
This would work perfectly for nosy people outside the immediate family. But they would know it wasn't true.
I tell them that I'm not having anymore children unless I can be a SAHM, yet still provide financially at the same level we are now. So if they are up for paying me a salary to stay at home I'm all for it.
So now we've got a dude realtor piping in on the board. My initial reactions:
He (I thought it might be a girl chris, but I found his profile on HAR) has only posted on the buying a home board. If he's married to Becky, she has a different last name, because there's no Becky with his last name listed
Becky is married to Daniel according to her KW bio.

The floor guy is coming out again this morning. I've had it up to here - C dropped a candle snuffer last night and chipped the floor. A very light weight candle snuffer from about 2 feet up. Really? WTF.
After weeks of phone calls, emails and filling out surveys, I finally talked to someone at Penske that was apologetic and concerned about the nightmare of our moving truck disaster. In one 10 minute conversation I got a sincere apology, assurance that they were going to contact the people in Houston in charge of maintenance on the trucks, and a 50% refund on the cost of our truck.
It's a Christmas miracle!

In other annoying MIL news, DH told me this morning that MIL sent him and about 5 others (family I'm assuming) an email with her Christmas wish list. I asked him what was on it and he doesnt remember, but he was floored at the gesture, as am I.
I am obviously missing out on this mass email of a Christmas wish list.

i go a ridiculously bad case of he giggles tonight at DS's band concert. it's beginners in 6th grade, so this is all kids who are new to band.
each group of instruments played their own song... when the clarinet group came around, they played "silent night".
i'm new to band and have never played an instrument. evidently hen you don't play the clarinet well, you can make a super loud *SQUEAK* while playing.
so it was a crazy squeak every 3 or 4 seconds. oh my heavens, it was so effing funny! i was dying with the giggles, like crying laughing silently, having trouble breathing. i felt like such an idiot, but i couldn't stop... i looked like i was bawling. the kids' mom was trying to give me a tissue without looking at me because she was also trying to stifle laughter.

Jax, that's hilarious. BTW, thanks for the DePelchin suggestion! Maddie is going to donate her birthday presents to them next week. I'm so proud of her and DePelchin is a great cause.
I think we may have found a house!!!!! Crossing fingers that it works out and we get a good deal.
Dana - DH just confirmed that it was him! lol. I showed him his realtor pic from har.
Could you share this groupon? I don't know what the price range is but I think my DH would love this. And if it requires we go to NOLA so he can get to it, he'll be even happier.
