Mood swing mood swings, gotta love mood swings.

Funny...I'm not a big fan of them...

They are absolutely horrible. I had an okay day, and once I got into my car I cried the.entire.way.home.

    What's going on?   Stress?  PMS?  Missing DH? {{{{hugs}}}}

Yeah I think it's a buildup of PMS, I haven't had AF since before my car accident. So you know it's AF from hell.

YIKES!!!!  Have you seen the dr about the missing AF for so long?  I really don't think that's good...

Soooo...I booked one of those PODS today for the move!!  I can cancel or change the dates of the reservation without penalty.  But I have it set to go if I want it!!

ETA - not everyone IRL knows about this, so please don't say anything on FB.  I'm sure y'all wouldn't have anyway, but just wanted to be sure I said something Smile

This is exciting! Have you told your mom yet?

I've told my mom, dad, and step mom.  The ones I'm really dreading telling, though, are my brother and grandfather.  Neither of them think I should be "chasing" G, and neither of them believe in living together before marriage.  I don't think my mom is super keen on us living together, but she knows that it's pointless to try to talk me out of it, and it will just drive me away from her, so she's accepted it.  She's trying to help me come up with a way to tell bro and gp.  So if you think of any good arguments to use, send 'em my way!

Besides the fact that you are a grown woman and have been married & divorced already?  You are an adult and you are well beyond the age of making your own decisions.

Well, there is that.  And that is why I'm moving forward with it.  They just both have very old-fashioned views.  And for religious reasons they are against living together before marriage.  In my mind, I went down that path one time, and THEN saw who XH really was.  I'd rather know that up front this time, before I make a promise of forever.  Again.  Because this time is the last time I make that promise!!

Most doctors say my irregularity if because of my weight. & I'm guess that + stress of the car accident my body just shut down.

  • Sooooo.....I worked 12 hours yesterday, got home a little after 8, and got back to work at 6:30.  I'm exhausted.  And I probably have another 12 hours ahead of me today.

  • War, do I need to bring anything for my hair if we're doing it 1/2 up 1/2 down?

If you are wearing a veil, or any hair accessory, bring those. As far as bobby pins, we supply those.

Also, send me a few pics of what you're wanting, just so I can get an idea.

I really like the ones I sent you on fb-should I resend those? No veil and I wasn't sure if I needed a clip thing or if you could get the same effect with bobby pins...

  • Sold some furniture tonight!  The lady was super nice too.  It was a bigger piece, so I feel like I'm making a little progress finally!  Hopefully I can sell a little more this week.

  • I'm so over today.

First, its the 7 year anniv of my fathers death. So I'm already distraught over that.

    Then Smokie got ill.

Then the Vet insinuates(sp?) that we NEED to do testing and that we are bad pet parents if we dont. We honestly have come to terms withhim being 15 YEARS OLD, and want to just make his life the best possible. As long as he is not in pain.

Now my mom is saying we should put him to sleep. I get it, its gonna be a PITA to help him walk outside to use the restroom, and clean up accidents, but jumping on THAT bandwagon so quickly? I'm sorry, but I will not do that until I know its HIS time.

So $300 later and I'm just wishing I never got up this morning. ;-(

Oh {{hugs!!!}}!  If he can be comfortable for a while still, why put him to sleep just yet?  I'm with you--I don't get that.  Just love on him and make him as comfortable as possible.  He's not just a "pet", he's a family member!

I agree here.  You can't just jump on that wagon.  If/when that time comes, you'll know the right thing to do.  Don't let anyone else talk you in to something like that.  Not that you seem like the "pushover type" though.  So I'm not too worried about that.

  • I am so ready to move.  I'm tired of being in Houston.  I'm tired of missing out on day to day life with G.  Sorry for (yet another) pity party for myself on here.  I'm jsut frustrated with it.  Maybe I just need to get some sleep and get over myself.  There is a light at the end of the tunnel.

  • Oh!  Did I tell y'all he is remodeling his bathroom?  Basically he's doing it for me when I move there.  I'm so excited to see it.  He's taken every wall down to the studs halfway up the wall (taking out tile from the '60s) including all the way around the tub.  And he's pulled up the tile on the floor too.  And he's putting in a new sink and vanity.  And a new bathtub.  And just when you think it can't get any better, he's doing all of this work himself!  I love me some tools and I'm pretty handy, but I'm so excited to finally have a man in my life that can do some of that stuff too!!
